What does $58.50 get you at Port City Music Hall? Two VIP tix to the Spencer Albee and friends Beatles tribute concert of Rubber Soul and Revolver? No... not if the computer prints off tix for a band youve never heard of and all you get from the Manager and Owner is..."Theres nothing we can do, but you can purchase two more tickets if you like." Nothing like a local buisiness knowing the meaning of customer service. Instead of trying to help, the owner blamed the issue on me and said he had a business to run.I expected more out of my $26 VIP treatment and $8.50 convenience fee. Ill never go back, specifically because of the lack of customer service.

saw neko case on 2/1 - fabulous show. i am in a wheelchair, and had no problems getting in and out - staff was very attentive and courteous. i dont know why the site says "no wheelchair access," everything was great. we paid a little extra for the VIP seating (well worth it!) two small complaints- the chairs got pretty uncomfortable after a bit, and these weird hanging lights from the ceiling between the VIP section and the floor section were very annoying and apparently could not be turned off (tho several of us asked.) but i would go back there anytime!

My boyfriend & I drove over two hours this weekend to see Collie Buddz at this music hall. We both saw him at Higher Ground in Vermont the year before. We show up at the front doors, and I am not allowed in because Im not 21. NOWHERE on their website does it say, 21 and up. Both security guards said its "posted all over the site" which is BULLSHIT. They were both rude & uncooperative. Ive never had issues getting into any place. I was really unimpressed with the staff, managers, & their uninformative website

Absolutely horrible customer service. Upon receiving tickets that were not listed as 18+ on the website we found that they in fact were 18+ and were unable to use them. In calling for a refund we were redirected to ticket master and back three times and have still received no help with the situation. They seem to have no interest in helping ensure customer satisfaction and are incompetent and unprofessional. Will not be returning to this venue.

what i dont understand is the RUDE WAY i was treated ,as a professional laser lighting co .you would think it would be a smart move to at least listen to what we have to offer , i got the one sentence out when the manager says we have our own stuff so we dont need you ,that is the definition of ignorant ,i just dont understand why you would dismiss someone without even knowing what they have to offer

Best venue in Maine! They have an amazing sound system as well as it being a cool funky place with two bars and nice chill seating. You can get a good view from pretty much anywhere. Most importantly they are getting some of the best bands and musicians around to come up to Maine! Im from NY and there arent many places there as nice as PCMH! Definitely check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Venue is downtown and in walking distance from all of downtown Portland. Although recent reviews say otherwise, the staff truly makes an effort to accommodate all guests. They could use additional staff during sold out shows, which Ive attended two. I can feel the bartenders are overwhelmed, but then again, theyve got to be making great money! Make this a destination on your next trip!

I have yet to see a show at Port City Music Hall where I didnt have a great evening. The venue is great, with the stage easy to see even from the very back, and the sound is great from anywhere too. Almost as impressive is the bartenders - they always seem to have the bar perfectly staffed, who make great drinks. They have some cheap beer choices too.

Really good small music venue. Very clean, good bar service, professional staff. If you can spring for the VIP section its worth it, the extra height and close proximity to the stage can get you up close to your favorite band. Sound quality is great. This place brings a lot of good bands to Portland, glad its here.

Cant say enough good things about this venue. The atmosphere is great, clean and the price of tickets is always competitive. They offer a VIP section for those hot shows you want to get a visual on while not bumping elbows. Support the PCMH so Portland can stay the home of great tunes! Thanks Rob!

Dont waste your money on this venue! Spent $100 to see a show with some friends and the stage set up there is so bad that we couldnt see the performers at all! Basically, all we got for our money was to hear the sound track, and to buy overpriced drafts. PCMH is a rip off.

This is a staple of good music in Portland. Friendly staff and multiple bars to keep the drinks flowing. Just dont forget to bring a couple bucks for the coat check so you dont stand around holding your winter coat like a dummy when you actually want to get down.

The sound in there was not great when I went. One of the speakers sounded REALLY fuzzy. Other than that, though, it is a great little venue! You can get right up next to the band, and the lack of seats makes the show really intimate and exciting.

Decent enough venue, nice to get close to the band, floor staff was alright but whoever was hired for sound tech sucked and kept messing up the audio for the band I was seeing. Definitely better places to see a band play.

Had a drink poured on me. Asked for a refund and they ripped off my wristband and kicked me out. Got the option to leave or pay $10 to come back in when I had a drink poured on me. Ridiculous.

Drinks were weak, not much on tap, even their a couple of their specials werecans, then poured into cups. Great space, perfect to get close to the band. Staff were helpful and friendly.

A fantastic intimate music venue where you can be up close and personal with your favorite band. I saw Suburban Legends and Reel Big Fish here and it was amazing

A unique venue. Youngish middle age crowd. Be aware that general admission means you stand up for the show. Preferred admission gets you a seat.

This is a cool venue! No bad spot to stand, room to dance, some spots to sit. Hosts are variety of events and super accessible location.

Nothing but a well-marketed bar. Typical sleazy tactics like jacking the temperature way up so youll buy more drinks. Avoid!

Best time ever. Small concert hall but it makes everything so intimate with the artist, especially if youre at the front.

Our first time there was great! We came up from southern NH and would definitely make the trip again. A great venue!
