While my 8 year old son is less discerning about his entertainment, as a parent, I thought this place was awful. The layout makes it impossible for attentive parents to keep up with their children, because they have to take detours around roped off areas where inflatables are crammed next to one another. My son scratched his face on the "wrecking ball," which upon closer inspection is old, dirty, and cracking apart. The lack of signage up front makes it impossible to know for sure which items cost additional money. My son had meandered to a few items out the back door, and we completely missed the 8-1/2x11 sheet that said amongst many other things, "this area costs extra." The first and only time I was engaged by staff aside from paying, was when the woman working the front ran me down for an additional four dollars. "You have to come up front to pay, but he cant come back in, because hes wet." And the best part... "Youre going to have to pull around to the back to pick him up," because "he cant come back through." (mind you, they have carpet inside - there wasnt a slip hazard). Moral: Your childs safety is NOT paramount at Playland Adventures, but your money is more than welcome.

This place is one of the only fun places for kids around the Bangor-Brewer area. Great Skates just closed and besides The Drive In and Sports Area there isnt much for kids around here . Its really cheap considering all that your kids can do . Might not be that fun for older kids. If you can get past the younger employees just trying to get through their job like everyone else. This place has awesome bounce houses a bunch of them , a bunch of slides and other stuff. You pay to get in and then you pay extra for a few more things. ********Go on a hot day and for $5 extra go out back to their water slides. Adults cant go on but bring a book and your kids will love it . They can sit back there for hours and go down the slides all day . They had a water slide that has to be at least 50 feet. They let us dry off and change clothes then come back inside and play inside too . It was an awesome day. I have no complaints about this place , only good things to say . Wish there were more attraction places like this around here . My kids love going to Playland Adventures.

Worse birthday party experience of our lives. We were treated like dirt by the woman who was working at the desk and supposed to be running our party. We were assured when we booked the party that all we needed to bring was a cake. They would supply all of the paper goods and that a designated staff person would be in the birthday room working the party. They refused to give us any extra cups or plates for any of the parents who wanted a drink or slice of pizza which we paid extra for by the way. At their excessive fee of $20/per child they only supply one pizza for the whole party, so we purchased extra but were told that adults werent allowed to eat!!! Even though we bought the pizza!??? The staff person was unbelievably rude, ignorant, and offensive. I had to keep going out to the desk for help because the girl who was supposed to be in charge of our party was instead working the register out front. She looked miserable and acted mean every time I asked for something. Myself and the other parents were in disbelief.

I booked the place for my daughters birthday party and was appalled with the service. I ordered extra food and drinks so the parents could eat but wasnt allowed any plates or cups for the adults. The place was so packed I couldnt even close out my party before I left. Someone apparently ran my card for the wrong amount and drained my checking account. Im currently waiting for my funds to be returned. The staff that were assigned to over see the more risky bounce houses often wandered away from their stations leaving a flood of children to pile on and run into one another. I would highly recommend against any body having a party here.

Always have a blast here, great place for kiddos of most ages and always free for adults even to use the equipment/bounce houses with your children! One low price for an all day bracelet, you can come and go as needed so long as you have your bracelet. They also have a comfy area with leather couches and tv for the adults who dont want to play or just need a little time out. Highly recommended to all!!!

Our 14 month old had a great time, and all for $5. Reading other reviews here will help avoid having a bad experience though.. most of the negative seem to revolve around parents not paying attention I can see now that I have been there. I said it was my first time to the cashier and she gave me a quick 1 minute rundown of how it works which helped a lot.

Its a fun place to bounce around with friends and family. They have fun bounce houses for all ages. They also have a teen night on Saturdays and a nerf night. The teen night isnt a very good experience and I wouldnt recommend it. Other wise this place us pretty fun.

Ive seen some negative reviews about bad experiences here but mostly all positive ones. I will say this, my 2 year old absolutely LOVES this place! Great place for her to expend a ton of energy and she sleeps through night whenever ever we go there, lol!

Great place for families! The price is good, considering you can bounce all day if you wish, and parents jump free with their kids. The kids especially love the water slides out back in the summer! The food is a little pricey, is the downside.

Far too pricey for what you get. The kids do enjoy it but as a parent I loathe coming here. Food and drink are overpriced. The quality of the inflatables is top notch however which is its saving grace. Also the noise....wow way too loud!

It was really good experience my daughter said mom can we go and one day I told her we are going out she said ok and we went to play land adventures her eyes lit up with joy that is why I rate it as a 5☆

Im there often with my boys. Its a huge place for them to run around. Theyve added few new bounce casttle. They also serve food and beverages. The arcade is also a nice touch to simmer down

This is the only place that lets the citizens of Maine have a Nerf war! The place has about 20 jumpy houses, and it is an amazing place for people with bad-a** nerf guns. Like Us.

Nice place to spend a few hours with plenty of places for adults to sit. You can not bring your own food or drink though.
