This is a beautiful park to walk in. There are tons of big trees for shade and the walking path is big and goes by a little stream with ducks and geese. The playground has that old tire material as a base so it never gets muddy and it reflects heat. On a 70 degree day you will feel hot on the playground especially if its sunny since there are no trees shading it. On a coll fall day its great because it feels warmer and more comfortable on the playground. I would not recommend it for hot days, or even moderately warm days for that matter.

It is a pocket of greenery in a densely populated area. Brown Park has a good tree canopy with well-shaded walking paths, a meandering stream with bridges, lots of places to sit and enjoy the vistas, picnic tables with grills, picnic shelter and play area for children. Geese and ducks call this park home year-round. I have been there when the parking lot was full, but the park did not feel crowded, even though this is a rather compact park. The park is great for walking your dog - on leash.

This has been a favorite spot since my childhood! The walk is lovely, especially when the park is all leafy in the summer! I like to go feed the ducks every now and then when I have some old bread. They have fun events for Halloween and Christmas. And the playground is a lot of fun. I remember I used to go to the graveyard with my mom and catch tons and tons of daddy long legs!

Nice park. Not as big as some parks in the area but very nice and well laid out. Also it has some nice art installations. You should also know that they also decorate quite a bit for Christmas, many decorations throughout the edges of the park.

Trails are nicely paved and tree lined. Nice clean playground and picnic tables. This is a perfect park/playground for young children and also for run/walking. I only wish that playground and surrounding benches were shaded.

Nice park with a lot of pathways for walking or jogging. Creek runs throughout. There are ducks to feed (not bread!). Picnic shelter. Childrens playground and port a pottys nearby. Nice clean park for a family outing.

Brown Park is beautiful. It is a quiet place to relax, read a book or sit back and enjoy the serenity. Beargrass Creek meanders through the park. The park is home to Canada geese etc.

This is a nice park. It has several marked walking trails which intersect with one another. The longest trail is about 3/4 of a mile, and it loops the entire place.
