I played the course for the second time over the 2014 Father’s Day weekend. Over all, the course was in fair condition. Tee boxes were suffering from some sort of disease that caused 90% of them to burn out. The fairways fared better, but still showed signs of burnout in some places. The greens however were in great shape and could be very challenging (3 putted two of them). They rolled fast and true, and had little to no erosion on all 18 greens. The course layout is more long than challenging. There are a few exciting holes, but nothing that would wow you. The facility is very nice for a public course. Two nice practice greens and a newly renovated driving rang. Being from St. Louis, I found the locals very friendly.

Though Seneca is constantly busy, it is an affordable, wonderfully maintained, and challenging golf course. If you prefer to walk, please note that this course feels longer than it is and has some hilly holes. Most of the fairways are narrow, with about 30-40% doglegs. The golf pro, Kevin, is approachable and has an efficient staff. I would recommend him if you need a lesson, whether as a beginner, or even a 2 handicap working on to fine tune your swing. Oh, and the beer and snack prices are very reasonable!

I have been playing golf for over 10 years now and have never had a worse experience than at Seneca golf course. We have now played golf here twice, and both times we were rudely treated. This course is overpriced and not worth the harassment we have experienced. Sadly, this place only feeds the stereotype that golf is for stuffy jerks and not for anyone to pick up and enjoy. Truly a miserable experience.

Im not a golfer but if there is snow on the ground this is a great place to go sledding! Right next to the parking lot there is a very wide hill which is tall but not too steep (family friendly for all ages). Across the street is a hill which is tall, steep and fast if youd rather.

Hole #1 is one of the worst golf holes on the planet. It was designed by someome who had no business even trying to design a golf hole. #10 green is on the goofy side and was designed by the same person. assistant pros and most of the staff are very friendly. Very affordable.

Great and challenging course. For the amount of rounds played on the course, always in great shape! With that being said, you better get out there early, if you want to play at a decent pace. Crowded weekends, but then again what course isnt on a great weekend!

Ive played this course more than 200 times, and I love it each time. Depending on the time of day/year can be busier than others, but enough course for anyone. Staff are great too! I dont live in Louisville anymore, but play at least once every time I visit

Excellent layout, extremely well maintained, workers are all knowledgeable and courteous, pro is a swing guru with noticeable teaching skills..only drawback is the never-ending crowds. Always crowded but worth the wait...

A guy drove up to my cart and started to go through my belongings in my cart searching for a cooler while I was hitting a golf shot without warning or permission. If you dont mind that then its a decent public course.

Pretty decent and open 18 hole course. Always grab a hotdog from the club house before you make the turn to the back 9.

I love this course but I gave 3 stars because they stack it up so deep. Tee times are just to close together.
