Afgelopen week tijdens ons bezoek aan Lexington hier twee keer gespeeld met mijn vrouw en twee kinderen (10 & 14). Een prachtige korte holes baan (allemaal par 3), prima onderhouden en leuk te spelen voor zowel beginners als gevorderen. John Overton, de general manager, is ontzettend vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om er een mooie golfmiddag van te maken. Dat wij uit Europa komen maakt het nog leuker in het gesprek :-) John, keep up the good work!

This isnt exactly a PGA Tour quality course, but its a fun one to play. Its especially good for beginners or anyone who wants to work on their short game. All if the 18 hols are part 3, except for a 270ish yard par 4 in the back 9. Its very forgiving and very inexpensive, especially if youre a college student at UK or Transylvania. The tee boxes are more like what youd find at a driving range with a square of artificial turf and a rubber tee. They do seem to maintain it well. The holes are pretty close together, so its very common to hit a ball onto the fairway of the wrong hole, but its usually not super crowded, so its rarely a big deal.

Its a small course, but challenging. Its a beautiful course and is a great place to spend the afternoon. Its also very affordable.

If you have never played golf before or you are a beginner, this is the best course in lexington to start playing on.

Its definitely one of the top-3 in favorite courses around town. Nice and cheap.
