Love skating here, the majority of the staff is super nice. But theres always one... So heres my story. My family and I skated for a couple of hours today and on the way out the door we noticed some skates on clearance stacked against the wall. The prices were alright so the wife and I discussed it a little and were pretty well decided to buy skates for all 6 of us. So we proceed to find our sizes and try them on. I had a pair on and skated on the carpet, maybe 10 - 20 feet worth. This is when one of the "managers" I suppose came over and says "Sorry you cant test ride the skates, sorry." Then walks off. So my family and I start taking the skates off and as Im boxing up the pair I had, he comes back and says, "Are yall interested in getting some skates?" I said well we were, but you said we cant test ride them. (Remember, I was On carpet, not far, not for even a minute.) So he says, "So youre not going to buy any because you cant test ride them?" I said, "Thats right, how are you supposed to decide whether they are good for you our not? So youve probably just list out on about 600 bucks." He says, "600 bucks hows that?" I said, "Because I have 6 people who would like a pair of skates." His response is the best part, he says, "Well we make plenty of money..." to which I said, "Well Im glad for you, Because you wont be making anymore of mine..." and my family and I walked out the door and left.

On 6/23/13, my girlfriend and I went to this theatre to see "Monsters University". The cashier talked us into buying the popcorn/drink package with the big plastic bucket which you can refill each visit at a lower cost. I agreed and paid $44 for two tickets, one large popcorn, and 2 large sodas. Today, 7/4/13, just less than a week later, we went to go see "Despicable Me 2", and while purchasing my tickets and popcorn refill, the cashier told me I couldnt use that bucket, that it was out dated and wasnt being honored anymore. "Really??? I just bought it this past Sunday, it isnt a week old, and youre not going to honor it?" Her manager was working the register right next to her, and she told him that I had just bought this last Sunday, and he looked me straight in the face and said, "Sir, there is no way you could have purchased that here last week. We got rid of those and re-issued new buckets more than a week ago." Dude just called me a liar, and that doesnt sit well with me. I calmly put my card back into my wallet, expressed my sentiments with "this is bull@#$%" and left the theatre never to return unless this is reconciled. I would boycott the whole Carmike chain of theatres, but that is all thats here in the area. Corporate office is here in Columbus, GA, they will be getting a call tomorrow.

We came for my birthday today Monday 6/27/16 Put put golf was fun and we enjoyed the skating rink. But I advise anyone going to keep your belongings attached to you. Especially wallets, purses, and cash. Normally I would not take to reviewing a place based on a random thief. But I have reason to believe that one of the employees in charge of the skating rink stole cash from my girlfriends wallet. We came on a Monday, and we came during a time when one of the skating summer camps were in session. The only people in the rink were myself, my girlfriend, a bunch of kids, and the camp counselors. My girlfriend set her purse down for less than 5 minutes and it was missing, we went up to the counter and the purse was sitting on the counter where someone had turned it in. It was only when we left that we discovered that the wallet with around $100 cash was missing. We called back and the wallet was in the lost and found, empty. As I said we were the only ones in the skating rink besides the children and the camp counselors hired by HC. So it was either one if the employees or one of the children at the camp. Either way, keep your belongings on your person, or use one of the lockers.

If you are bringing your kids here BRING THEM TO ENJOY TIME WITH THEM This is not a babysitter!!!!! My husband took our daughters there yesterday, on a monday mid afternoon shouldnt be so busy. Nope it was not busy at all but there were a few TOO MANY kids running arouund that had NO ADULT SUPERVISION! My husband and the girls decided to go skating- unknown to them there are kids with the homemade skate assisters made out of PVC pipe skating- ok so be careful around them, pay attention right? Well these kids were playing roller derby- they had knocked our daughter down twice and of course there are NO parents in sight. My husband who IS SKATING AND ENJOYING OUR CHILDREN, asked the kids to be careful and courteous of everyone else who is skating. Not even 5 minutes later one of the kids knocks our daughter down, lands on her top of her wrist which is now broken from left to right and our daughter is in a cast up to her elbow for 8-10 weeks!!!!! If she had been 13 vs.10 they would have done surgery....so keep in mind if you go here you may fall victim to parents who feel this is the babysitter!

Reclining leather chairs! Reserved seating! Tuesday, I chose this (formerly Carmike, now AMC) theater for an 8pm showing of "Atomic Blonde". Movie night cost me nearly $50 as an AMCStubs Premiere member, with a ("Stimulus") Tuesday discount, AND a $5 off AMC rewards coupon for 2 Adult tickets, one nachos, one hotdog, and two large cokes. I did it for the reclining leather/faux leather chairs. For the first time in a movie theater, I reserved two of the finest quality and most comfortable seats Ive ever been in. I feel obligated to tell you in my opinion, AMCs Ritz 13 has raised the bar and redefined the standard of a five star movie going experience. Still insanely expensive, but with the ability to reserve those premium reclining leather seats; the surprisingly delicious nachos; clean and comfortable theater; and such much more, I feel better about dropping a months gas money.

The skate rink SUCKS !!! I hated it!!!!! they do not allow hats at all!! every skate rink in the rest of the enitre COUNTRY allows hats , get with the program columbus!!!!! this place is for kids mainly, they play lame ass white girl music for kids, never any black jams, they charge you for every little bitty thing imaginable . u cant just pay one admission price and stay all day like every other place in the country, you have to pay for a few hours then pay again for 3 more and then pay again and again an again, their price for a small small cup of tap water is 2.50 cents, for water !! tap water,!!!! cokes are 4 bucks, this place just sucks all the way around compared to the ither 1000s of skate rinks everywhere else in the country. no hats, the service sucks and they have a ton of police officers watching everything everywhere. the staff wont allow to do anything.
