I have been to this location several times. A company that I use for professional certifications rents it as a training location. Its nice to see this historic place still serve a vital place in the community. Always great to be in a place that has such history. Lots of cool photographs and memorabilia inside the log cabin. I know that it is maintained by the city of Slater.

We have been having our family reunion at this cabin for over 30 years! Great place! Evey year there are more improvements made to the surrounding area. Extremely nice.

Attended an eagle scout ceremony here. It is a small community center with kitchenette and bathroom. Clean and in good repair.
