A colleague from Rockwell and I played Hunters Ridge as part of his final days here in Cedar Rapids before he went off to California. It was a first time for me at the course. Although we had a fine time, I was very disappointed in the gentleman who took my green fees. Unknown to me at the time I arrived, my colleague had a coupon that allowed the 2 of us to play for free. I had already paid the green fees by the time he arrived but I went back in to let the gentleman know that the second person on the coupon was me. He took my credit card and ran it back through advising me he would deduct it from the fee I had already played. He asked if I wanted a receipt of that transaction and trusting him I said it was not necessary. Unfortunately that was a mistake since it never was removed from my credit card. Lesson learned. Although I wont say I would not play the course again, I will say that the dishonesty shown will certainly not make it a first choice nor a recommendation.

The people working the grounds on this course get all my praise. You can tell they put in endless hours to make sure the course is in its best shape every morning before the first tee time. I love playing this course.

Playable by all skill levels best course around town great experience staff is great and helpful also the best roller dogs in town if Im ever in the mood for one I go to this place even if Im not playing
