I golfed this course for the first time on labor day and I was incredibly surprised at how beautiful and well maintained the course was. It only cost about $40 or so to walk which was a great deal especially considering the quality of the course. This course is very walker friendly and very well designed. It offers a variety of holes that tests all aspects of your game like course management and shot selection since there are a few holes on the course where a driver isnt your best option. The tee boxes were designated as if you were golfing on a PGA Course; by this I mean all the tee boxes were flat, square, and with minimal divots. The moment you set foot on the first tee youll know what Im talking about. Lastly, the greens are also in amazing shape and incredibly firm so you wont need to worry about fixing other golfers divots which is typically a common issue especially on city courses. I highly recommend making the trip over to this course at least once because you wont regret it. Ill definitely be making the 1 hr 40 min drive a couple more times this year to golf at Turtleback and when you finally decide to book your tee time and play this amazing course make sure you lay up on Hole 9.

One of the true jewels in northwestern Wisconsin. The course is always in excellent condition, from tee boxes, to fairways, to the challenging greens. You will find this course to be forgiving, yet challenging. We have never had a bad day at Turtleback, dating back over 35 years. I would highly recommend you to take the drive to Turtleback.

Seems like this course has really gone down hill the last three years use to be the best course around spot of dead grass and the greens are terrible to putt on ball marks everywhere that dont get fixed looks like people jumped all over the greens!

Awesome risk reward holes, you can reach the 9 hole with your drive if you dare, I think it is the best kept, lush golf course in the area.
