Ive been a haunted house junkie for many years, and absolutely love what these guys have put on. I went for a few years as a guest, and then the last year they were in Downtown Cedar Rapids I gave in and volunteered. Everyone there is awesome, works incredibly hard, and absolutely loves what they do (theyre all volunteers). I dont live in Iowa any longer, but Ive been watching as they construct THREE new haunts (including outdoor stuff, which Ive never seen them do) for this upcoming year, and Im super stoked to see what they come up with. Definitely making the trip down from MN for at least one night - probably two just so I can take it all in!

it is not worth the 20 dollars per person, honestly it was a joke not scary it felt like you were just walking through and a kid would jump out at you once in awhile or theyd have people dressed up that would annoy you and try to scare you but it would come across as hey look at me hey you Im scary. And one of the haunted houses if you want to call it that was a pitch black smoke filled tent with a powerful strobe light no sense of where to go and was a chain link fence maze I hit my head cut a whole into my jacket and twisted my ankle a bit and kept running into people seriously I should have asked for my money back this place is lame

We got to the attraction at about 11:20 and made it through the whole thing before midnight which is when their doors close. We got through the first building which was fine. The second building was just a tent with fog and NO ACTORS. Third was the forest that had about 6 actors. I felt as if the actors were lazy because of the fact it was close to closing time. Management said that the tent with fog is supposed to just make you feel lost, not scared. All management had to say was "sorry you had a bad experience" TOTAL WASTE OF $20 AND TIME.

This haunted house has so much potential! With three attractions themed around different ideas Id so cool. The idea of a scare park is quite a difficult task and they are getting close to it! One is based like your usual haunted house kinda random but in a good way random. Random that really makes sense. The other is like the old frightmare forest! And a new attraction that is a chain link fence maze thats filled with fog and a strobe light! Definitely is disorienting and a cool idea! I would definitely come back again!

We had a great time. One price for 3 attractions, plus they also had a murder mystery that could be solved while you are standing in line. Being new to the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City this year, they took great advantage of the landscape. Freightmare Forest was dark and creepy, Circle of Ash was a truly scary haunted house, and Pandemonium was disorienting and puts a sense of panic or dread into you.

What an amazing experience I have had volunteering with this group. Looking forward to this maiden season at the new location in Central City. Three great attractions both indoor and outdoor best of all, stay as long as you wish. Exciting!!! Always a great time had with family and friends.

I myself personally work there and it is a great haunted attraction. They owners workers and staff are nice and treat you well with snack and bathroom breaks. In my opinion this is probably one of the best haunted attractions i have ever walked through or worked at.

Circle of ash is definitely a haunted house to visit this weekend! I went last weekend and I had a blast! I plan on going again this weekend with some different friends! The prices are good too! I spent $20 and I went through each attraction at least 2-3 times!

The fog tent is dumb got lost and was freaking out to. Then I almost passed out because the fog and lights. There things are cheap. Got threaded to be kicked out because I touched and actor when they touch me. Total waste of $20!

This place is run by people who dont get paid to scare. Dont get your hopes up. Its a huge waste of money and its like walking thro and empty dark room. Real scary huh. No. Boo thumbs down

I cant wait to see what these guys do with their time next year! Theyre rocking it for only have one summer to build the whole thing. And their cast is insane!

This place is a joke. An absolute joke. I know its probably put on mostly by volunteers but they shouldnt be charging this much to get in.

Big eye sore after the season was never cleaned up and props put away next to a natural area dangerous to wildlife!!!

Bo-Bo and Chester the clowns were the best... It was really fun I dont understand how you got 1 star ratings
