Panther Ridge is what youd expect to see and hope for in a wild cat sanctuary. The grounds are well cared for. Each of the 17 cats (although some are siblings and live together) have their own enclosure filled with clean bedding, large wooden structures for sunbathing and perching, enrichment items, pools for cooling down, sleeping dens and more. The love and care that director Judy Berens is evident when you look at these beautiful wild exotci cats. Unlike zoos, the cats here show no signs of stress. Although some have had precious incidents prior to coming to this gorgeous location Judy has an undeniable bond filled with respect and adoration for them. I was humbled when being so close to them! And yes youre less than a foot away at times! We were blessed when seeing the the many clouded leopards out and about during our tour as they are primarily nocturnal. Wonderful experience! Each cat has its own personality and Judys bond with them is amazing. If youre here dont skip out on this once in a lifetime experience. The conservation center is dedicated to the care and well being of these cats so know that the money you spend to see them is put to great use!

Panther Ridge is home to a variety of large cats - a black leopard, a cheetah, some cougars, snow leopards, oscelots, a caracal, some (regular colored) leopards, including a six month old cub who was born there and is just the cutest thing to ever walk the planet, and a number of others. The animals were all abandoned or adopted from zoos or shows that no longer wanted them, and Judy (the owner) makes sure each of them has the most comfortable and awesome life any animal could ask for. I have been to Panther Ridge many times and everyone I bring there feels the same way about it - its fantastic. Today I went on a private tour with the owner and it was better than ever. Judy taught us about the animals and each ones unique history and personality and fed them in our presence. The animals were inches away from us and Judy is able to go in many of their cages with them. When she does, each of them trots right over to her to be pet and loved on. One of the snow leopards even climbed into her lap and then put its paws around her shoulders to get a hug. The place is impeccable and the amazing love Judy and her animals share is palpable. Highly recommend it!!

Panther Ridge is a special place. While touring the grounds with Judy Berens, the Director, I almost felt as if I were on sacred ground. Judy got into the cages with the magnificent felines (including panthers, clouded leopards, cheetahs, jaguars and cougars) to groom, feed and pet them while sharing their stories. It is apparent Judy and her big cats share a special bond - and no wonder! Some have been rescued from deplorable conditions, while others have been raised at Panther Ridge. I highly recommend a tour of Panther Ridge - not only is it a wonderful experience, but you will be supporting the good work that Judy and her small staff do to rescue and care for the endangered big cats.

"Youve got to go and take a Directors Tour with Judy." That is what I text a few friends after we left Panther Ridge and that is what I want you to do if you read this. The cats are so loved here and you can tell by their shiny coats, warm eyes, and playfulness that you want to learn all about them. So heres what you get... Judy takes you around to introduce you to the cats, you can watch them up close for enough time to really enjoy, and take a ton of pictures. Youll learn about everything big cats! And to top it off you can play fetch with a possible OCD border terrier dog. Worth going again and trying out some new camera tricks!

Panther Ridge is just spectacular. The animals are obviously well cared for they even have there own fans. The owner Judy is the one that gave my family and I a tour of her beautiful sanctuary and it was truly amazing. Not to often you can see a cheetah up close and personal. As well as jaguars, ocelots, panthers and clouded leopards all rare cats that are a once in a lifetime experience to see. If your ever in west palm beach area and you want an experience to remember check them out. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience. Very interesting and informative. Great guide. The tour took a little over an hour. Maybe 12 large cats; definitely worth seeing and learning about them. Our wonderful guide had a degree in animal husbandry. We watched her feed each one. They lover her! They are caged and she enters the cage. You are safe at all times. Cant wait to take my granddaughter there.

This place is simply amazing!!!! They only do private tours and you can have an option to take a tour with the director Judy. I took that option with my son and it was the best tour ever! So many beautiful cats to see and the place is so clean! Staff and Judy take wonderful care in the animals and it shows. A must see for everyone!

The animals are beautifully cared for and the grounds are large and spacious. We were given a fascinating tour by Sadie, who clearly loves her work and knows all about her big cat charges. This is a sanctuary worth visiting.
