The owner of the course, an elderly female, was yelling racial slurs at a member of our threesome When we asked her to stop, she told all of our group that we had to leave and we werent welcome back. Im not positive, but I think I smelled whiskey on her breath. The course was ok, definitely not nice at all, especially the front nine. I recommend this course to ELDERLY people, and definitely not college students in the area. Also was not happy with the hospitality that the owner showed to us.
So this was my first experience trying out Cedar Pointe golf course in Boone. As soon as I arrived I instantly felt very welcomed and enjoyed being around the clubhouse when I was in there. The club manager, Joli was very sweet and was a lot of fun. I loved hearing the oldies around the bar considering it felt a lot more comfortable. So dont hesitate and get out there asap!
Jolie and Mandy are pleasant and have provided great service each and every time we have visited. They are a large part of why our group(s) choose to play Cedar Point. The owners also take the time to chat, that goes a long ways to help us "out- of- towners" feel welcome. Give their Bloody Mary a try.
First time coming to this course, it is a very good course well maintained. Good prices and good organization! Club house was very nice and helpful. If Jolie is working she will brighten your day and be sure to help you with anything you need! Definitely coming back often!
Just a terrible golf course. If youre wondering why they are offering such a low price for 18 holes, its because Cedar Point is one of the worst courses in Iowa. If youre in the area, spend a few more and go play at a great course like Veenker.
I like this course because the front 9 and back 9 feel like two different courses. The staff in the clubhouse are great!
Nice layout, not usually crowded unless they are having an event. Plays quickly and is pretty forgiving.
Fun 18 hole course in the middle of Boone. Front 9 is older and tighter, back is more of a links feel.
Great time at the Eisenhower golf tournament for the History Center of Boone.
Its a fun course, tight front 9 long and open back 9
Readonable fees, beautiful day & nice course!
Its a beautiful golf course and fun to play.
