I bought an $89 Groupon (greens fees for 18 holes and cart for two people), but it expired mainly because it was hard to get a tee time. The Deuce does not offer online tee times, and you have to schedule your round 5 days in advance. I have since learned (after calling about 10 different times) that they are closed on Tuesdays (which, ironically, is the perfect day to call if you are trying to schedule a Saturday round and comply with the 5-day rule). Also, the voicemail box was full for the golf shop, so no luck leaving a message. Ultimately, after e-mailing the course, I was told that to honor my Groupon, I would need to pay $100 extra for the two-person round. In my opinion, paying nearly $200 for two people is way over-priced, especially when other KC Northland golf courses (e.g., Shoal Creek) are in better condition and much less expensive to play. Very disappointing experience with The Deuce.

The Deuce has a unique layout to the area with some very severe hills and it makes for some picturesque holes. It does not, however, meet my expectations of a private course when it comes to conditions. Ive played it twice now a couple of years apart and the greens were very similar...slow and not in the best shape. You can get a Groupon to play here for $75 or $80 for a twosome when they do their 20-25% off promos and Id recommend playing it once just to see the course and the layout of a course thats unique to KC in my opinion.

Got a Groupon and have been trying to use it at a decent tee time for weeks. They clearly only offer you the worst tee times available. I called and acted like a member and they offered me great tee times. As soon as I told them I was using a Groupon they told me the tee time was no longer available and pushed me back 3 Hours lol. I wish Zero stars was an option.

This is a fun course with plenty of challenges, yet its not so difficult that you want to give up the game. Most of the holes that have doglegs, dogleg to the right which is great for my fade (er..slice). There is plenty of elevation change and there are some great views to behold. Enjoy!

The customer service was TERRIBLE! While the course was beautiful, the pro made us feel like we were a terrible burden. Bring extra balls, its really easy to lose your ball (even in the fairway sometimes).

The course is nice but the range is short. You are not allowed to hit a driver or 3 wood because the balls will go into the trees.
