Went there for Grand Prix breakfast club. Bouncer denied entry to one of my pledge brothers saying his ID is fake (its not, hes 24), probably because he now lives in South Dakota and his license is from there, and nobody lives in South Dakota. Bouncer wasnt going to give the ID back since he thought it was fake, which is standard policy. Being breakfast club, there were cops across the street so my pledge brother went to them asking them to verify its authenticity since he needs his license for everyday life. The cop looked at it and confirmed it was real. Still wouldnt get let in. A few minutes later, one of my other pledge brothers who did get in asked if there was anything else we could do to prove his age. Eventually the bouncer let him in by showing him his facebook page. So according to this bouncer who thought it was fake based on no facts, facebook is better proof than a police officer confirming that it is in fact a real ID. LOL ok.

The only reason I didnt just give 1 star because it was still a good event and all my guests had fun. We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here upstairs. Clara and the kitchen staff worked with us on menu options for a buffet style meal. Things were great until my dad and I went to pay for everything. The contract was really strange and unclear on their total price, which left us under the impression that the total was about $400 less than they actually wanted us to pay at the end of the night. We ended up getting a small discount on things (after a lot of negotiating and complaining), but they still left us a couple hundred over on our budget for that event. If youre going to host an event here, make sure you get explicitly stated totals from Clara or whoever else at 308 you work with on planning stuff.

This place is terrible. Music sucks, staff is the worst and management did even worse than the staff. Beer is hot, drinks are watered down, music system is weak. Do your self a favor and dont go. To the owner: sorry not the person who put money in the jukebox. Just a regular paying patron who was treated horribly at your establishment and judging by your response, you could care less. Thus, underscoring my position that people should not waste their time with 308.

NEED OLD STUDENT ID TO ENTER / ALUMNs As a proud Purdue Alum (2012) I went to visit the campus and came across this new business. My initial excitement turn to disdain when we were told we needed a student ID to enter. If you dont have your old student ID do not waste your time because you will not make it. Id suggest sticking with the traditional locations (e.g. Harrys, Jakes, etc.) until management changes position.

308 has become a place I must go to when going out. The staff is friendly, the drinks are strong, and the place provides different environments to suit your need. The entrance floor is more a bar feel, sit and drink. Upstairs is a lounge area to talk and hang out. Downstairs is the dancing area where one can end the night there. Definitely a hidden gem of the bar scene.

I am a 2008 alumni visiting for the week. When we tried to get in they asked for 2 photo Ids saying a student ID would work. When we pointed out we were not students they were obviously not interested in alumni money. Harrys bartender went out of his way to thank me for the tip I left there tonight.

The employees are extremely friendly. Having three different vibes in one place is awesome. The drinks are strong for the price you pay and taste excellent. Best margaritas in town and best dance music. Also their free birthday shots are amazing and taste just like a birthday cake!!!!!

What may be the most under rated bar at Purdue. Clean venue, a dancefloor downstairs, and a chill area upstairs lead to something for everyone. The prices of the drinks are a bit high and the options leave something to be desired.

Awesome food. Awesome prices. The only reason I gave 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the service is spotty. The lady server that works during the days is great! However any other time we have come in, the service is not good.

Good live music but theres no room to move. Very crowded with slow service because of the volume of people and drinks are a little higher prices but not too bad. I would only go again to dance and not drink.

I really like how theyve redone the place, even though Im a local and I generally avoid the college bars (those rugrats are obnoxious, right??). One of the only bars Ill bother visiting on campus.

I love it here, go at least a couple times a month. Julie is the best bartender on campus and the food is actual food. Not "I have to be drunk in able to enjoy this food" AMAZING

Definitely a much needed up and coming bar. Playing pool is fun, there are several distinct and fun area with different styles, and the prices are reasonable.

A decent bar, but use the facilities somewhere else. They dont separate the bathrooms by gender, which is great for equality, but the line takes forever!
