On a weekday, I tried three other local golf courses, all were booked or had outings. I called Pittsboro to see if they had an open tee time, and they said they dont reserve tee times. I pulled in 10 minutes later and was able to walk on (after a few practice swings of course). The course is pretty simple. No sand traps, not too much trouble to get into. A couple of trees in the middle of the fairway (always interesting). Overall, an enjoyable experience. They have Gas powered carts.

Nice, straightforward 9-hole course. Very reasonable green fees. New ownership making a nice effort to improve the course and add amenities to the clubhouse.

Excellent 9 hole course. Spend every Friday night there during there couples scramble. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.
