Horrible Staff. Myself and others (10) went up to play the course on a Sunday. Yes, thats right! They made over $500.00 with our group alone and I wont go into how much but lets just say its ridiculously overpriced! Not sure where the money goes because it sure didnt go towards carts, or staff etiquette lessons or greens upkeep! After being yelled at, (yes, I said yelled at) and treated like dirt by the staff, I called and spoke with the owner. After all, if they dont know theres a problem they cant take corrective action. Right? Instead of owning what happened and apologizing and correcting the behavior, he justifies their actions. (leaf doesnt fall far from the tree!) The course is overpriced and in horrible shape. They claim its one of the best golf courses in Indiana. Total crap. Not even in the top 100! Seriously, if youre thinking of playing this course, rethink it! The staff is very unprofessional and doesnt know how to speak/treat guests. Believe me, youre not treated like a guest, more like a red headed step child! The carts are old and beat up! They barely run and are filthy! The course itself had hoses and sprinkler heads scattered throughout the fairways and the greens were burnt. Which I really dont understand because it hasnt been hot at all this summer.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS COURSE!

This was embarrassing! Ive played this course at least once a year since it opened 20 + yrs ago. Ive bragged about this hidden gem to all of my golfing friends. This year, like most, I brought a few friends who had never played the course. I was blown away with how this course has deteriorated in the past year. Burnt fairways and big weeds on the tee box. It looks like theyve just stopped taking care of the course and if that true, it is a real shame. We talked to the ranger, and he said theyve changed superintendents and that he has a new "strategy" for maintaining the course. Guys, just a little advice...most of the people who play this course drive from out of town. If this is the product you intend on giving them, then the end is near, because people will stop coming. PLEASE, PLEASE fix this! I want this course to come back to its former glory and Ill be the first to re-rate at 5 stars.

Course was very wet. Almost half the holes were cart path only. Greens were very slow. Round took nearly 5 hours. First time to play Rock Hollow and while the course is nice, it is not for a high handicap golfer. Lots of blind shots, lots of forced carry shots and a lot of trouble for golfers that cant conttol ball flight. I was very frustrated with the pace of play. Two threesomes in front of us and we (foursome) waited on every shot. Part of the problem was the cart path only holes, but I attribute a big portion of the problem to the two threesomes themselves. I will probably try Rock Hollow again, but would prefer to try during the week when the conditions are a bit drier.

Im more than happy to drive the hour and a half to this course any time! Hidden gem of Indiana. Love the ever changing layout and scenery. The course has always been in good condition and the staff have always been great. Just played there last week (4/17) and lost my 8 iron. The staff found it! THANK YOU!!! Ill see you next week.

Course used to be in excellent condition. Went Aug 2017 and I was embarrassed. I bragged on the course to the guys I brought. Greens were slow and beat up. Fairways were horrible with spotty grass throughout. Dont waste time or money. Sad! Drove hour and half. Wont go back. 2 stars because layout is still one of my favorite

Great design, excellent condition and clearly best value in the state. One of the best tracks around and at $39 bucks you cant beat it. Customer service was fine, but to be honest Im looking for great golf, not a hug. Brads review is out of bounds and should be DQed in my opinion. Dont miss out on this one.

Brad Newman has no idea what he is talking about. We have been to Rock Hollow more than 15 times in the last 4 years. The staff has always been courteous and welcoming. The carts are in poor condition but the golf course if fabulous!! Every time we have been there is has been a great experience.

Played it last week and the course was in excellent condition. There is never a lot of play so you feel like you have the course to yourself. Management style is a bit stiff (hey, were here to have fun--relax).

Very beautiful golf course! A little dry in spots when we played but the greens rolled well. This is also a difficult golf course. I would not advise this course for beginners of the game.

Good Course, But, the people in the clubhouse have been dissmissive and even condescending on a couple of occasions.
