Attended an event on Friday March 27th and the owner had known for 2-days the heat was not working. She/he failed to contact the client and allowed the event to continue without a contingency plan to ensure the guests would be warm/comfortable. They continued to tell the client "they called the gas company" and with Walmart directly across the street didnt attempt to purchase space heaters to keep the guests warm. The assistant nor the owner came into the event to address the issue with the guests...unfortunately the event ended before the scheduled time. Guests were leaving early due to the 60 degree temperature in the room. Horrible...Horrible.. All businesses offering these type of services, should have a contingency plan in place and give the client the option of rescheduling and/or cancelling. This owner did absolutely NOTHING! Shame on the Silver Center. What the Silver Center failed to realize each one of the attendees was a potential client for a future event at their facility

****** 10 days after this response, I still have not been contacted so I can receive my refund Ive been trying to get since the event was canceled in August. EXTREMELY unprofessional!! Good evening Ms. Hall, to our knowledge everyone had been refunded. If your purchasing card went from MasterCard to Visa..that would be why you card wasnt automatically refunded. There were a Few others that could not automatically be refunded, and I personally met with them to give them a refund. It was never our intention to keep your funds at all. We have 3 email accounts so I have not seen all of the emails mentioned above, I do apologize. Again, its not in our interest to keep your ticket funds. If you could please inbox us your event order number, NEW credit card information we will gladly and promptly make sure you receive your entitled $48.11.

I held my Moms 80th Birthday Celebration at the Silver Centre. She really enjoyed it. The room was beautifully decorated. Upon entering, I almost cried. I had a kids table set up. I children really loved it: crayons, candy, coloring placemats, very nice. Chesia and her staff were very professional during the event. I am looking forward to attending and or hosting future events at the Silver Centre. Consider the Silver Centre when planning your next big or small event.

Our 5th Year Church Anniversary Banquet was a success at The Silver Centre. From beginning to end it was a smooth process. I especially appreciated the flexibility of the Centre.
