We recently hosted our wedding here and had a wonderful experience. Lady Josephine was so kind and gracious, and both she and her husband helped us with set-up and tear down on the day of the event. We accidentally stayed past our ending time (my parents are very talkative), and they didnt charge us, even though the contract gave them the right to do so. They did everything they possibly could to be wonderful hosts. They worked with our catering company, offered tours to our guests on the wedding day and at the rehearsal dinner, and were very flexible about costume rentals for our attendees. Our wedding was a wonderful event, and I am so happy with the service they provided us. Their rates were incredibly reasonable. They mentioned they have many weddings currently booked, and I would be surprised if they dont end up raising their prices. They could double the current hourly rate and still be an affordable option. All of my guests have raved about how beautiful the facility is. My parents stayed for two nights and loved their accommodations and the breakfast. My husband and I are looking forward to returning here many times.

I attended a family wedding this past weekend at Clayshire Castle and the entire experience was amazing! The grounds and castle were very clean, welcoming, quirky, and wonderful. I loved how the grounds and castle were open for exploring, so many things to see and marvel at (my favorite was the giant chess board on the property)! The hosts were great to interact with, were very friendly and accommodating, and did an excellent job at making the whole experience perfect for everyone. I definitely would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for something a little different, it truly is a little treasure tucked away in rural Indiana.

Had my sons wedding here. It was awesome. Lord Douglas and Lady Mary Jo are the sweetest people anyone could met. Very kind ,understanding, and extremely helpful. They go above and beyond to make everyday special, not just the wedding day. We had stayed the night, and the breakfast was so good. They make sure you go away very full. The food is awesome, and all made from scratch. We will def be back for mini vacations in the future. Will be life long customers for sure. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

How blessed we were to get this as a gift. Incredible experience and atmosphere! Beautiful, impressive facility and grounds. Absolutely delightful, attentive and knowledgeable hosts. Delicious authentic homemade food, handmade costumes, fun music and dancing and then pure peace and quiet. The list could go on and on. Amazing time!!! You can clearly see these two do this just for the love they have for it and the joy they get from it! Great job Doug & Mary Jo. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

I have been there one time. Our host and hostess was very warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the tour and explanations of all rooms and amenities. Took a lot of beautiful pictures. Looking forward to taking my daughter and grandbabies. The only negative would be they didnt have a stable or horses. For me that was a huge part of that time period. All in all a wonderful experience.

My wife and I were married at Clayshire in October of 2015, and it qas absolutely the most fantastic day of our lives. Doug and Mary were incredibly accomodating to our needs, and the castle and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. I absolutely recommend staying at the castle, if its just for a night, or for the whole week.

We stayed here 2 years ago for my 50th birthday. It was absolutely great! The medieval look and feel with modern conveniences. The hosts were very welcoming and provided an outstanding meal! Highly recommend!!!!

Its just awesome... They have authentic food and music They dont sacrifice modern conveniences for the look. She hand makes the costumes Each room has its own theme. its just really neat all around
