I was there yesterday with a group of 4th graders on a field trip - the whole experience was outstanding. The one thing that stood out the most for me personally was our visit with Redhawk the Native American man. I could of sat there and listened to him talk for 3 hours. It was so refreshing to here someone talk to the kids about RESPECT - I thought he was amazing!!!! to here

Awesome trails and shortcut paths through nature. This place offers a small creek where kids can play, wildflower picking, horseback riding paths and just Tina tons of exploring. My favorite place for a walk.

A little known gem of a park with cabins for overnight camping. There are soccer fields and forest hiking trails. A good bathroom, open year round and heated in the winter.
