At the end of the season in May, I was informed that the new entries will start after Labor Day. I came two days after Labor Day to register my son but then was informed that the registration was closed and to come back next year for the new season. Im disappointed by someones incompetence and ignorance that has costed my son. Also the Community Center informed me that they do not do registration for the hockey team nor do they have any information as to sign up dates. As I need to go to the ice arena and do the registrations there. A couple of times I visited the ice arena but there was no clear sign up dates for the fall session. And because of the vacation time it was closed so I thought, OK Ill go as I was told after Labor Day. I have a great favor to the people who employ the staff of Franklin Park ice arena to thoroughly inform them of up coming events, because for ones ignorance my son will be sitting at home for a whole year, instead of playing his favorite sport. And of course, no one feels guilty.

Franklin Park Ice Arena is been around since early seventies is is a good family place to raise your children full of activities there is a party room for birthday parties combined with ice skating in their Studio rink so from novice skater to the most experience theres something for everybody that this family friendly Ice Arena Franklin Park Ice Arena also has its own Pro Shop family fun for everyone Franklin Park Ice Arena

Good value for money, good teachers. Good parking. Facilities are a bit lacking - not too much space for resting between classes.

2 skating rinks within the facility. Has men and womens restrooms. Also has a handful of vending machines for snacks and drinks.

Well maintained ice. Great programs from kids to adults. Coaches are great and arena staff is friendly and very helpful.

I have skated and taken lessons at Frankling Park and highly recommend it. Too bad it is far from my home.
