I think many Bulls/Hawks fans besides maybe being priced gauged on food/drinks/parking tix cost would give the "Madhouse on Madison" 5 stars. So i wanted to write a review for those who are not particularly interested in hockey, or maybe are tagging along with a group/work function to a game. If your seeing the Hawks at the UC, get there early...the national anthem is a moving, exciting, and an adrenaline filled experience unlike any other anthem for a sporting event!! I rarely park at the UC because of the cost, but the Billy Goat down the street you can park for free if you get there early enough! Otherwise a ton of parking around the stadium if you dont mind paying north of $40. Theres always Uber and buses line up after to get you to whatever line you need to go. Make sure to enter through your assigned gate number on your ticket, and have everything out for security. Inside the UC has a ton of bars, merchandise stands, pro shop, and a fairly long wait during intermissions for bathroom use! Go during one of the stoppages, and avoid the gaggle of people during intermission! The stadium has 3 levels of seating and SRO (standing room only) which are at the very top of the the rafters. I do not recommend purchasing SRO tix, unless you get to the game and thats all they have. Youll have to camp out for a nosebleed spot to stand, and if you move youll lose it likely! Ive sat in all 3 levels and really it depends on your budget, as in my mind the only bad seat in the house is the one you dont have! The UC has many bars, mezzanine seating with club level access for bars/bathrooms, numerous merch. stands, and a great in game experience for fans. Make sure you enter through your gate number as listed on your ticket, and have everything out for security. Pretty self explanatory but will save you a walk around the building and hassle. I

What an experience as I am the 352 reviewer of the United Center facility. Of note is that on the eve of October 27th, President *Barack Obama added a *lightning-spark to the Bulls game as he was back in Chicago on this day. This remarkable date is annotated as such each year to be of significance to every ball handler upon the court or Tswana coral. Here mighty Tau "Lions" in union with the Taurus Bull manifest a saga join fans from all over the globe. If your into stars then take note of the eye of the bull, Aldebaran an orange giant star located about 65 light years away in the zodiac constellation of Taurus who also watches the (k)nights action and sportsman like conduct. I find IT enlightening in these times of media brands that the founding of the NEW matrix is a devilish form of the Protestant movement that formed America... all over again. So ITs cool that president Obama is a Bulls fan, but what of these haunting mysteries that we hear on the NEWS where apparently a hooded apparition shows up at Atwater and Richard? Is this some kind of Botswana ball player dribbling in the machine? And just what is this talk I hear of from the coaches regarding Left, Right, Center as IT relates to Unicode U+ 421? Another app or apparition face found on not only basketballs but baseballs and other stitched spheres. I dont know about you but I am going to go to the library and do some research of the various patters of every ball of every sport and do a facial recognition analysis to see whats up. That being said "Go Bulls" and let the readers of this review beware as IF one turns the Bulls logo upside down they will witness the "Tau Bot" as such be reading a book upon a table. ♉

My experience here was somewhat limited. I came for one concert, didnt use restrooms or concessions. First, our tickets said enter by gate 2, but we couldnt tell at first if we were in the right place. While we were in line outside the building waiting to go through security, an employee kept saying something, but we couldnt hear a word. She repeated the info when we got closer, about having to print out tickets if they were on your phone, but she didnt say at first that you were ok if your tickets were on the app, so that was confusing too. I appreciate that security had to check bags, but is it typical for them to COMPLETELY empty every single item out of every bag? It took forever. Once we got inside, staff was friendly, helpful and plentiful. Our seats were small, close together and with not a lot of legroom. I cant say if they were comfortable, because we were excited about the show and stood up the whole time. But we were so close that every time the woman next to me moved an inch, she bumped me. The sound system was pretty decent but a little muddy at times even though the volume level wasnt so loud that it should have distorted anything. One thing that was particularly appreciated -- staff members were kind enough to pick up streamers from the floor of the pit for those in the seats who asked for some as souvenirs. Even after the show was over, we werent allowed on the floor ourselves, so it was nice the staffers would help us out. So, overall a pretty decent experience.

United Center is a blast, this is the home of the Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks and numerous concerts. Plenty of vendors and bathroom facilities make for a good time. The United Center opened in 1994 and most recently had renovations in 2009-10 in the 300 level to create a bar and additional concessions. This year (2013) management decided to removed the "Madhouse on Madison" signs and replace them with regular LED signs, which I disagree with, but most will get over / not even notice the change. ***TIPS*** The bar in the new 300 level allows for first come, first served action with standing room and stool to see the game; so get there early if youd like to sit there. Every seat in the United Center is a good seat, personally I prefer great 300/200 level sideline seating over baseline 100 level (under the hoop) seating. The deals youll get are in 300 level or in baseline 100 level and 100 level sideline / courtside are outrageously priced. Parking isnt a problem, I prefer to park in official United Center parking at a five or ten dollar premium over unofficial parking lots. Or, go to a bar (like Beer Bistro on Madison) and they have a shuttle that will take you for free to the game! The Bulls will start practicing in their new practice facility in this area soon so be on the lookout for continuing development in the United Center area including bars, restaurants and shopping! All in all a great time and if youre in Chicago, you need to check out United Center for a Bulls or Hawks game.

I went to the bulls/pelicans game on 1/14. The venue was impressive, and I had a good experience overall. However, I think there is some room for improvement. I sat in section 305 and the seats could use an upgrade. The cushioning has deteriorated which might sound picky, but you are sitting down in these seats for a couple hours. Great opportunity to increase the fan experience here. Also, some type of drum line played the halftime show. The drum line played a couple other times throughout the game during timeouts and other breaks in the game. I think the drum line adds to the game experience. I noticed the fans were a little more involved and excited after the drum lines performance. The in-game experience team also made a great decision in deciding to have the drum line play out the racous crowd as they poured out into the Chicago streets - setting the tone for possibly an unforgettable night for the 21,000+ in attendance. My only complaint is the drum line was only rolled out 3-5 times throughout the night. Why not utilize such a weapon? I guess what Im saying is I would have liked to see the drum line more.
