Excellent, I loved the Jelly bean, it reminds me of android, if you come here you have to see it to believe it! I will try to describe it the best I can, While the jelly bean might have a striking appearance when going underneath it if you were to look up it will appear to look as if there is a very high roof and on the roof is a gigantic mirror this area is directly underneath the jelly bean. This is a very big and jelly bean. When or if you do visit and go over there and if you are even passing in or near Chicago you should come over here and look at these marvels random Piece of art and while you are at it be sure to take a selfie! Over all, I had a very fun experience but there will be a lot of running so be sure to take your running shoes! And thats not all there is actually a lot more like there is a play ground with a gigantic slide it is very vertical and is very long so you go very fast and then slow down or your supposed to but you end up falling of the end of the slide and slide on the hard floor. It is definitely worth checking out. Beware though there is a little shed at the top so a lot of people will be waiting in line so there will be a lot of rude people shoving and pushing. Stay safe and make sure you do not get hurt! There is also a stage and seats for large events they have a speaker system and its very own WiFi that will (more like can) be used if there is an event but the park itself does not have any WiFi but that is no reason not to visit it (or it can be if this is a big problem with you but you are in Chicago so there are plenty of other things that can keep your company) all in all and buy in large (watch pixar movies) I think this is a very good park and you should differently visit it! -Google Guide Hasan Khawari

Other than the beautiful landscape, the new home of the Chicago Blues Fest may not have taken into account the crowd draw that this event brings. Seems that the layout is a bit cramped. Grant Park offered a spacious venue even with the large draw the event brings, you could move freely from stage to stage with ease. In Millennium Park this was clearly not the case. Moving from one location to another was at times a real challenge. Large crowds cramped the through fares so tightly that only a conga line could make it through. The smaller venues had their performers and of course people stopped to check them out causing a mess to get through. Add in beautiful weather and heat, overcrowding becomes an issue rather quickly. I attend the Chicago Blues Fest every year and have performed there for 5 years straight and I gotta tell you I was physically beat after a few hours. All in all if large crowds in a cramped environment doesnt deter you then by all means go and enjoy. The acts and performers are absolutely great. But I would like to see this event moved back to Grant Park. Will I come back next year? Probably, but my family would rather stay home.

Millennium Park is perhaps the most grossly overrated attraction in the city. It is well situated on the lakefront and is very attractive as an open space however there is nothing to do. Once you have seen the video wall and the giant bean youve pretty much seen everything there is to see. Yes there is a playground for children but it is over attended and I have yet to take a child there that can be entertained for more than 20 minutes. The results or artwork but nothing that would warrant a trip. The artwork is typical for what you will find in city parks these days. If youre coming to Chicago just to walk through the park then your expectations are realistic. Beyond that I would take a pass if you are coming more than an hours distance away. If you do decide to come come during the winter when you will at least be able to skate on the ice ribbon.

Many travel to Millennium Park to enjoy its scenery and enjoy many of its ammenaties: restaurants, playgrounds, live concerts, an occasional ice rink, contemporary art. But lets get to what this place is really about... An amazing place to take Instagram pictures. Every place in this park is a perfect photo opportunity: that bench, that shrubbery over there, that guy, and of course the Bean.. YES THE BEAN! You have to take a picture by the Bean, its why you visited this beautiful city. It puts the Sears Tower (I refuse to call it the What You Talking About Willis Tower) to shame. Its really called Cloud Gate, but that name is not as cool as the Bean. Its the ultimate spot for a picture: wedding photos, Facebook Posts, Tinder Profile Picture, the list goes on and on. Seize the day... but through pictures at Millennium Park today!

Millennium Park is the quintessential Patel-point. Theres lots to see and do here. Theres the Bean, the Crown Fountain and a whole bunch of other things a stones throw from here. I dinged a star for the parking situation. Yes, theres ample parking under the park, but you may have to sell a kidney or two to do so. An hour of parking costs $24! In fact parking around here costs a bomb in most places. To get better prices, try using any of the parking apps, I used parkwhiz and got a decent enough price: $21 for the whole day. Another negative is the restrooms, which are definitely on the less clean side. I get that there are a lot of folks visiting this place but seriously, avoid the restrooms here!

As long as you can get here, its awesome. Parking is 30 bucks, so youre better off taking a lyft or a bus. Once youre in, there are lots of free things to do. Right now there is ice skating, but during the summer they have free concerts where you can byob. There are also sick playgrounds (for kids - may be dangerous for adults - especially that large twisty tube slide) and rock climbing walls. Its clean, people are friendly, and there is always something happening. Oh, and the bean is here so you can pretend to take pictures for people and steal their cameras. Or take pictures of people you dont know. Or take a picture for someone and get their number. Or just watch.

Millennium Park is a great area on the east side of the loop right off one of the major business districts downtown and north of some of the more laid back condo buildings in the city. Great for tourists, those enjoying a lunch outside from work, or those that live in the area. There are both places to eat, walk, and sit to enjoy your meal A ton of events can occur in this park from yoga to meetings to more. A great area of the city that is just close enough to get to by foot for many but just far enough away from major parking that it doesnt tend to be overly packed most weekdays. A great example of why Chicago is such a great city.

Lets be honest, most people come here for the Cloud Gate aka "The Bean" . Its nice. People love to take selfies in it. Its fun for everyone. The pavilion is nice looking, but they rope off the grass which is unfortunate. I would love if we were able to just go sit in the grass. Why wouldnt you use it? When its warm, the fountains are a great way to cool off even though I personally find the faces a bit disconcerting. If you are visiting the city, I would definitely take some time to come here.
