Went to the M Lounge with my husband and friend last weekend and we had a good time, but I was expecting more in terms of overall experience. The space is too small for its popularity, so we ended up sitting in the VIP lounge which is in the back away from the main floor near the bathroom. The seats back there were uncomfortable as well. On the plus side, the drinks were reasonably priced! As the M Lounge continues to grow, they may have issues with dealing with their demand because of spacing and having the capacity to serve drinks in a timely fashion. I would go there again though.

Hi Reginald, I wanted to take a moment to thank you and the entire staff for a WONDERFUL event this past Friday. M Lounge is truly a hidden gem. My husband was so surprised and had a great time. All my guests were raving about the place. I cannot say enough about Crystal, Charleston, Alicia and last, but not least, Trillion! Went here for my birthday last year and had a blast! Quite welcoming! Nice chill spot with modern decor. The drinks were good... not too strong. The bouncer/waiter was nice, very helpful and patient. Music was fine. It was house music night so thats what the dj played but closer to the end of the night he mixed in r&b and hip hop. Everyone that joined me had a great time as well. Went back some months later and still no complaints! Adult crowd... No rowdiness so I give it

M Lounge is a Jazz Club located in the South Loop area of Chicago. It is very nicely decorated with a warm ambience. Jazz Vocalist Sarah Marie Young performed here the night of the 2013 Jazz Club Tour Trolley sponsored by the Jazz Institute of Chicago. I love the cozy intimate atmosphere at the M Lounge. I sat in front of stage to listen to the great young jazz band. This was another one of my favorite stops on the Annual Jazz Club Trolley Tour.

This is a favorite place to enjoy great conversation with interesting people and have some of the best martinis on the near southside! Free street parking on Sundays. Otherwise, pay close attention to the signs. Its a quick walk or short cab ride if youre in South Loop neighborhood. Very interesting jazz throughout much of the week. This is a really nice place to enjoy adult life!

I love this crowd. The typical crowd here are 30+ African-Americans. You will always end up having a very deep intellectual conversation with anyone in this place. I feel like Ive learned more from my random conversations with people here than in my first year of college! Not to mention their signature cocktails and the jazzy, house music are perfect!

This lounge is a ladies and gentlemans affair! It has a mellow vibe where you can have a conversation without screaming your lungs out. Getting a drink can be a hassle. Plus the place can get too crowded around mid-night, so consider getting there early. Otherwise, you dont get a seat and will be standing at a tight walkway all night.

Love this place! Its so intimate and inviting and regardless of how busy it gets, the staff is always very attentive and on their game. I frequent this place a few times, if not more, a month for the live jazz, strong/tasty cocktails, and intimate setting. You can even order outside food to be delivered in case you get peckish.

First time at M Lounge and it was fantastic! I was drinking an old fashion and my girl had chocolate martinis and they were awsome. DJ played some good tunes all night long. M Lounge is a dimly lit lounge ,very romantic, with some great looking women and men. We had a very sexy time,cant wait to come back n party!!!

Intimate spot with an attentive, but not overbearing staff. The cocktails were crafted beautifully and were not as pricey as I expected. Surprised that such a small place could afford to also provide live music, which certainly made this spot one of my new favorites!

Cool, chill spot Its small and fills up quickly so I wouldnt come in super late. I would reserve a table for a group. We were there on a Saturday the DJs had a good neo-soul mix going. The drinks are strong, which is a plus!

Very small and in the middle of no where. No live jazz for a jazz club so kind of very disappointed. But the martinis and were very tasty and easy to drink. Not sure if that means theyre weak or made well.
