The beginning of a new golfing season comes with a new set of changes. Thankfully, Ive had the pleasure of watching the course prosper in more ways than one. Ive been golfing at this course for years, and I can honestly say that the infrastructure never looked more attractive and pleasing to the eye. The staff in every department are attentive to the needs of golfers and community members alike. Please keep up the great work because people are starting to take notice of the new benchmark that is Canal Shores.

If youre used to really nice courses, you wont like it. If youre used to decent courses, you probably wont like it. If you like community-run courses that provide a great atmosphere and place to relax for those who live around the area, youll love it. If you like seeing L trains and the BaHai Temple, youll love it. If you like relaxing hours with a couple of friends who are just as bad hacks as you, youll love it. Enjoy it while its there. Its a gem.

Expensive for what it is. A par 4 course with people coming home from work walking across the fairway. People walking their dogs all around the course. And fairways with grass so tall you can (and I have) lose your ball in the middle of it. If it goes in the rough just drop another ball because you wont find it.

Short course thats decent and a fun little course to practice on. Holes over the river are nice and many easy holes to par....good for for the beginner/inter golfer.

Not good at all. More of a dog park than a golf course. Tee boxes and fairways were hardly existent. Worst golf course I have ever been to.

Good golf course for casual players. The holes are narrow, so dont expect to hit your driver
