My wife grew up in Central Illinois and made fun of the idea of a farm in a zoo but this is a great way for inner city kids to experience a farm. Make sure you go into the big barn and see the newborn chicks.

Theyve removed the scale and weight comparison chart. Other changes are updated and very nice including a small skating rink. Still have the baby chicks!

Take your kids or friends who grew up in the city to show them how the cow looks like unclose. If you lucky you can even feed them!

It was winter so there wasnt a lot going on. Pretty empty. Looked decent. Had an ice skating rink and you could rent skates.
