Newnan Community Theatre Company has it all! Plays, musicals, kids shows, kids camps, adult classes. From Shakespeare to cutting edge to old favorites to original works by local writers, and of course the NITWITS, our very own Improv troupe! NCTC takes pride in our community-centric atmosphere, while maintaining professional-quality production standards. Several graduates from our youth programs are now professional entertainers! We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, all-volunteer. We do it for the love of the arts and the camaraderie. Tastefully built into an old train depot, the Newnan Theatre Company offers a great place for community theatre. My whole family went on Saturday for the improve group called N.I.T.W.I.T.S. we howled with laughter and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The lobby is kitschy but tasteful, and very comfortable. Admission varies by show, day, and age, but is very affordable. They also sell popcorn for $1 and drinks and water for the same. The auditorium is an industrial space; the seats are narrow and old. But somehow you get past that and just applaud the show. My family and I had a total blast.

Last night my honey and I went to see A Christmas Carol. Although the story is well known and you know the outcome .. the meaning still holds true. This was my first time to see an event at the NCT and based on last night will try to make it back again. Yes its small town but still makes you realize why we live here. Perhaps it is time though to invest in a microphone/speaker system. .. somewhat hard to hear the dialogue especially from the "little ones" halfway up the seating ... Still though enjoyed !!!

Advanced Aesthetics

Newnan Theatre Company has a little something for everyone from adult improv classes to kids camps to costume rentals. One aspect that goes unnoticed- venue rental. Obviously the building isnt available all the time so call ahead of time and be flexible. But it is worth it. The Downtown Newnan Historic brick warehouse will instantly add charm and character to any business meeting, wedding reception, or family reunion.

I basically grew up on the main stage at Newnan Theatre. It is where I found my passion for the arts and for this I am forever grateful. Amazing staff that treats you like family. I have never seen a bad show done here. I would highly recommend for children with interest in the arts (The academy program is great ) or anyone who is looking for a place to be creative and be themselves.

This is my favorite community theatre! They are always doing something fun and the entire production team is wonderful every time. I also really appreciate the way that the theatre sometimes pushes boundaries father than the average small town community theatre!

I come here all the time! Very talented theatre. Very professional and fun! Loved every show Ive seen here. Its Newnans "Best Kept Secret". Which is a shame. Everyone should know about this place!
