My friends and I attended Max & Val show and the actual performance was great. However, I would like to share our experience with the Taft theater Will Call employees that occurred prior to that. My friend purchased 3 tickets through StubHub (she tried calling the theater directly but was told to purchase tickets online only) and did not print them out because each ticket had a bar code that could be scanned. We were running late and she had a hard time pulling them up on her IPhone screen, so we were referred to Will Call office by the gentleman on the door. 2 female employees at the desk were so unhelpful and impolite, it was borderline hostile and felt like they had a goal of not letting us watch the show. At first we were told the theater was not affiliated with StubHub, then accused of having "invalid tickets" and then provided with a non working email to send the PDF file to. Finally, after a 10 min commotion the tickets just opened up on the phone screen, but even then the lovely ladies kept telling us they could not be scanned. Luckily, the gentleman with a scanner in his hand heard that and contradicted. He quickly scanned our tickets and directed us to our box. Poor Customer Service ruins the great impression of this small but charming place and I really hope that whoever is in charge of HR will read this review and take measures.

I am writing this review to talk about the wonderful customer service I received from the Taft Theatre. I got tickets to see the Impractical Jokers VIP for christmas. When we got our email statement from Ticketmaster, it said that the original purchaser needed to pick them up from will call. I called TicketMaster to explain that they were christmas presents and the original purchaser would not be with us. TicketMaster was extremely rude to me, and all she did was put my name on as an alternate person and kept berating me for not having the original purchaser going to the show. I called the Taft Theatre to see if they would let me in as the alternate person picking them up and they were fantastic. I spoke to two different women and they were both extremely helpful and accommodating. The first lady was actually working at Taft and she answered all the questions I had at the time. The second woman I spoke to was at another location and could have easily had me call back to get the main office, but she was extremely helpful and wonderful. I highly recommend contacting Taft Theatre if you have any questions or anything at all, they are so helpful.

The Taft is the best theater in Cincinnati. The seating is a little cramped but the acoustics are great. The beer selection could be better, but prices arent bad. This review is NOT for the basement room which is pretty horrible. Its actually worse than Bogarts or the Madison theater. But the main theater is very nice. Ive been to nicer theaters in other cities but there isnt anything that compares here in Cincinnati. I consider the Aronoff in a different class meant for slightly different purposes.

I recently came to a symphony concert with a friend who uses a wheelchair. From the moment we pulled to the curb, we were assisted in the most helpful way by both police and Taft employees. My friend was taken into the lobby while I drove around the block to park. I am so grateful for the excellent service we received. Thank you to all who made our visit such a success. P.S. The concert and the guest violinist Gil Shaham were brilliant.

The seats are so close together, the whole row has to move out to the aisle, and they are not comfortable. Navigating to bathroom and concessions are not well lit, nor well staffed for the events capacity. Very disappointed, esp with the transition of music hall patrons to Taft, that are traditionally elderly. Simple fixes can and need to be done to remedy it, that wont be a big investment of time and money.

Old and smelled of must, it was hot, the seats were made for children, sitting in the balcony i could here people talking behind me, (why couldnt they shut up) lack of security...... anyone could have brought a gun in. The restrooms were small with long lines, no cameras or phones allowed..... really? If it would have been anyone other than Chris Cornell I would have asked for a refund. Just saying

I do not hate that place I enjoy going there I go there every year in the month of March because I go see Brit Floyd. The only thing that bugs me as they make you wait outside until the last minute or maybe a couple minutes afterwards to get inside if they would just let people in out of the dark and out of the cold that would be nice

My daughter and I along with friends attended the "Bring It Live Tour" July 2017!! We had very good seats with the exception of No leg room...understood its an older..historical theatre. It was also slightly warm in there but with that aside we really enjoyed the show there!!! #DD4L #DancingDolls #FaithDIDThat #Ballet

The staff are super friendly and facilities are nice and clean. However, I will say that the seats are terribly uncomfortable. Im 510 and my knees were against the seat in front of me the entire time. I highly recommend reserving a seat on the end or one at the beginning of a section if you are tall.

Not sure why they put fold up chairs in the isle to block the view. I guess the few extra $s they make are worth ruining someone elses show. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Would have been a great show friday night but I couldnt see much , Will not be back . Beware if you purchase tickets in row Q.

The Taft Theatres appeal comes from the smaller scale, deco interior, and terrific views and sound from practically any place in the house. Ive seen everything from Broadway touring companies to solo acts perform here, and the stage houses each range perfectly.

Love this place. Only had one issue at Lumenocity where they had lots to do outside. We showed our tickets to go in and get a drink then they wouldnt let us back out...we had 1.5 hours to wait...with a 4 year old watching all the good stuff going on outside.

Went to see Post Modern Jukebox here. Beautiful historic looking inside. Seating was a little cramped for my 6ft 220lb figure. Overall we had a great experience and Id do it all again. Public parking garage across the street was atrocious

My wife and I recently attended a performance of Beethovens Missa Solemnis conducted by Juanjo Mena and it was absolutely wonderful! Our first time attending an orchestral performance and we will definitely go again.

Good venue overall. I went to a concert get recently and was impressed. The facilities are nice and the staff was friendly. The bathrooms are down stairs though so that was a bit of a pain but nothing major.

Went here for several symphony productions while the Music Hall is being renovated and was impressed with the architecture and history of the building that was very functional for the events I attended.

Its way too hot in this place. Its disappointing because I cant invite my older parents to a show here due to the heat. Its crazy. At least turn on some fans. There are other venues you know. Improve.
