One of the worst organizations both operationally and at management levels that Ive seen. And definitely NOT a place to encourage your children to work at. Theres no value on their greatest asset - human resources. They work minors long shifts, no scheduled breaks (and I know its not GA labor law but best practice in every other retail establishment weve had exposure to still does so for their people because its the right thing to do). Ive called their "Corporate HR" twice over the last year to discuss issues with no return calls; not until repeated calls were made to follow up did I receive reply and when I finally got to speak with this "professional" the response was entirely sketchy and clearly caught the person by surprise. They were not knowledgeable about labor laws or good employment practice let alone the current practice of their employees. Further, there are Department of Labor violations occurring on the regular including conducting business over email with employees who are expected to read on their own time without compensation. Required online training that wasnt compensated either - one of the issues I took up with HR. Big no no!!! I shouldve reported to the DOL instead!! No uniform shirt issued to an employee friend and so had to use my sons reducing him to one - what?! He worked 3 weeks before receiving an orientation. Incredibly unprofessional. The communication is consistently punitive and the "manager" is among the worst Ive seen. This place needs to get a clue. I cant imagine the cost of turnover...theyre losing some incredible employees due to poor management and operational process but clearly it doesnt matter, people are disposable. Typical retail attitude and why this organization wont go far. As a parent who tried to support the business, weve also patronized the restaurant. Among the worst in service levels and have walked out on two occasions after not even being acknowledged by any staff, let alone seated or served. Good riddance. Lots of strikes, but youve lost all your stars. And the only reason theres one star rating on this post is because this application requires it.

My family visited Stars and Strikes in Dacula/Lawrenceville this weekend as a post Thanksgiving wind-down. It is definitely an appealing place for families with kids or couples that want a fun date night. Arcade/Entertainment area was decent. Lots of selections including a few really fun interactive games. A few of the games (bumper cars/laser tag) had long wait times, but most of the arcade games were comparable to similar establishments. The bowling center area was also average. I am an avid bowler so I guess my review is slightly bias, but for a typical date night Id give it a 4 star. One side of the lanes was considered "VIP" (glow bowl, tvs, and couches); the other side was regular lanes. I was a little disturbed by the pricing ($30/hr) and the customer service of the staff. We had a party of 8 including children, but the staff failed to notify us that we would only have 5 minutes to prepare for bowling so we wasted 25 mins of the hour chasing children to put on shoes, bathroom breaks etc, etc. 30 minutes into our bowling session the lights went out and the entire place became glow bowl with a DJ playing Top 40/Hip-hop music (admittedly pretty cool).

Came here w/ the kids to eat and have fun. The restaurant service was horrible, the food was horrible. The bartender could not even make a mojito that was specially advertised! The wings were so overcooked they were almost dust! Was hoping it would get better on the games but the laser tag was over booked and the other "special" games were not manned - so best guess how to use them. The bumper cars let us wait for 30-45 minutes IN LINE to let a birthday party cut in front of us - unmount, exit and start again 3 times!?!??! No notice - just left everyone in line WONDERING! This was a Saturday afternoon and they appeared to be EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED. Looks like management has the place screwed up if they cant get employees to show for work... I used to come here all the time with the familiy - even bowled on 2 leagues! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN BY CHOICE! Dave and Busters is just as close - the service, games, food and atmosphere is MUCH BETTER! Save your money - do NOT spend here - go to Dave and Busters off Sugarloaf. Better service and bang for your buck!

This was our first time at Stars and Strikes. We had my daughters birthday party here and it was such a wonderful experience. It truly could not have gone any better. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Especially our personal server for the party Ashley! I would request her everytime! If your looking for a fun, affordable and easy birthday experience, you will find it here. They literally do all the work for you. From the set up, to getting all the kids settled to bowl, guiding them to each activity and even ballon creations. They had everything set up and ready to go when we arrived 20min early and we never had to wait on Ashley for our needs. She was always present and always had a smile. We had an amazing time! Thank you stars and strikes for making my daughters birthday so great!

As a former employee of this establishment, I can tell you now, anyone thats ever worked here and left, or have been fired, have gone on to having much better jobs, having better pay, and have been much happier. The staff is friendly, despite the lack of respect that some managers have toward their staff, 9/10 of the staff were the nicest people Ive met, and some of the best people Ive had the privilege to work with. Ive worked here for almost 2 years, and 2 years Ive helped everyone with their work, come in to work on off days, covered double shifts & worked 2 positions at the same time on numerous nights. Rarely was late, always showed up half an hour early, and usually was the last to leave... Management doesnt see that, they just see their money. So yeah, thanks for reading... G day!

This was my best birthday party yet! Got lane 9 in bowling and had soo much fun! If you are thinking of going here just go ahead and schedule! The birthday parties are fun and so cool to have! The ticket blaster worked really well and our server was really nice and polite. We had some problems but they were fixed in a snap! Fast service, great time, and birthday party approved by me! They even had my name on a whiteboard "Happy Birthday (my name)" We asked for blue balloons, thats what we got! We asked for cheese pizza, thats what we got! Perfect place for families everywhere in the Dacula area! The laser tag was very fun and we had to barley even wait! They made even more fun by making party vs. party! The laser maze was also very enjoyable!

The arcade was down and had to find out by spending 90.00 only to be refunded because they didnt tell me the were having problems! Waited over an hour to bowl and was asked if we wanted to pay by the hour and if we did we wouldnt have to wait again so we chose that option because we have kids and didnt know if they would stay interested. When the hour was almost up we were told we would have to wait over an hour again. Got the general manager Mike Seabiscuit or whatever his name is involved and he showed no concern for the situation. Worst customer service ever. I own and operate a business and this is a way to insure you lose repet business! I will not be back and will not recommend anyone else to waste time and money!
