My fiancee and I came in 20 minutes before the weekly College Night event on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 and we were invited to wait a little bit so we were able to have unlimited bowling and laser tag for only $8 each. I wanted to check out the arcade so I appreciate the woman at the desk letting us know. While we waited we went to the arcade. I had a little bit of trouble with the coin machine but the fault was my own since Im quite used to just putting money in and getting tokens out. Once we realized we needed to select options on the screen it went a lot smoother. Having a single card to swipe at each station was pretty cool and a lot more convenient then carrying around a pocket full of change like I had to do so many times as a child. You only need one card if you are able to stay together and it can be used for the multi-player games as well as single player. As with any arcades, you are able to win tickets that are redeemable at any time for a wide selection of prizes. Most games will automatically add your tickets to the card you swipe but for those that give you physical tickets, these can be fed into a machine near to the prize counter and transferred to your card. When it was time to get our bowling shoes and be directed to a lane the line at the main counter was getting long but we were quickly ushered into a separate line and we had everything we needed within a minute of getting in line. The lane and scoreboard are easy to set up and customizable. You have all the basic options from choosing the order of the players, skipping a player, correcting scores, and if you want to have bumpers or not. The lane we were on (lane 15) had a few hiccups in that it didnt clear all of the pins in preparation of the next player but it did correct itself when we were able to knock all of the pins down ourselves. This is something I have seen at every bowling ally Ive been too and doesnt happen enough to give a low score. My fiancee and I just bowl for fun and regularly get bellow a score of 100 per game so I can not comment on the quality of the lanes or how well they are taken care of. The comment from "Dan DanDanDan" says they arent up to par but Its hard to believe a 1 star rating and very little detail to his review. I do have to agree with Brandon Harris on the point that the food service was slow. It being a weekly College Night event they should be prepared and have an extra waiter on hand. We ordered the nachos and were shocked at the size of it as there was easily enough there for 3 or 4 people and we were expecting a single portion like you get at most places. Here is the description of the nachos from the menu (that we failed to look at) on the website: Ultimate Nacho Platter - Big enough to share! Seasoned beef loaded on fresh tortilla chips and topped with cheese, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, onion, salsa, lettuce and sour cream on the side. For only $10 after tax it really is a great deal and the waiter was kind enough to give us a box to take it home in. In all it was a great night and we plan to return soon. There is still so much to do including sand volleyball, laser tag, and a ropes course.

First Problem [Liz] 1. Entered the place no one at the desk, I ran into a manager named Pete he said one second Ill get someone for you, That never happened so saw a big guy at Laser tag asked him and said he will find someone,he went in some room & a woman came out & passed us with a dirty look. 2. She was eating fries & a drink and when she got to the table I was letting her know how many shoes, games we wanted & she put up one finger as she was giving me the Im busy right now & chewing her food, which was disgusting because there was food on her shirt. 3. As we were leaving she was out front talking on her phone about how she doesnt get paid enough & the working environment is terrible and if she doesnt get a raise soon shes quitting. (This woman has no respect for her employees, customers and only cares about herself) Second Problem [Peter] 1. I came in with a guy friend & 3 girls, we all got around for bowling & when we were done the girls wanted to use the restroom and when they came back told me this Peter guy followed them and talked about giving them 2 free games of bowling, I said thats cool so we played and while we were playing this guy literally was 20 feet from us would not stop watching us, One of my friends went to go get a drink and he followed her and she said it was creepy he wouldnt leave her alone and she didnt wanna leave the place alone in fear he might follow her out there. Plus It was even creepier when we left and he was doing the exact same thing to another woman offer her free stuff. (This is completely unacceptable especially as a Manager, Your job is to manage not stalk women) [ The Highlight ] Playing Laser tag with this big dude and quiet fella I forgot their names but they had us laughing like crazy and even challenged me in a 1 on 1 basketball session which I won! All in all I wont return.

Reasons I will go elsewhere and recommend that my annual group goes elsewhere next year: #1 Bowling is played by game and should be paid that way. Even for a group. #2 The service was bad! I saw two passes for service, the 1st after we were there for over a half-hour, at which point most of my party had already went up to the bar, the second pass missed several people who wanted to order things, some of them went to the bar, the rest of us went elsewhere after the event. But it wasnt only the servers, the girls working behind the check-in area were distracted and more interested in what was going on elsewhere than actually focusing on taking my order for shoes and my money. #3 The mixed drinks were WEAK, less than 1.5 oz pours. Im not AT ALL an advocate for over-pouring. (I probably wouldnt grip about this except for the fact that the drink prices arent exactly cheap.) #4 I dont know how you do it, but I know that other bowling alleys manage to put balls back so there arent so many out. There were three main positives that I saw: #1 The manager was clearly good at his job. #2 The place looks great after the remodel and the other fun things to do are certainly a bonus. #3 The food is a step above where typical bowling alley fare.

The only thing this place has going for it is the game area. The bowling was fine, but we went to be social and have a few drinks and a bite to eat. First issue: walking to the lane a WAITRESS asked us if we knew what we were doing in a condescending tone. Second issue: 3 bottles of beer took 10 minuets to arrive and after the first ones were gone it took another 10-15 to get our waitress back to order food and another round. The wait for the food ruined the night. One friend ordered nachos, another ordered a pizza, and I ordered fries. The nachos arrived first. Had to go search for [Chelsea F.] where she was sitting with a coworker chatting. The pizza took about 25-30 from order to table. My fries, one last beer, and my tab were a different story. The fries showed up after 40 minuets with my beer and no tab just as they were closing. I refused to pay for the fries and spoke with the manager who could only take $2 off, and Chelsea was rude the entire time. She kept my friends change from his bill (about $30 in change). She also followed us around until we walked out the front door. Needless to say I will be paying the owner a visit on Monday. Just go to City Limits or Royal Scott.
