This is actually a place that Ive been going to for almost 2 years. I show up there in business casual attire and Im stopped at the door. This if the first time Im ever stopped at the door of this establishment. The gentleman at the door isnt the usual door decoration thats usually checking IDs and he mentions to me that I cant come in because my "pants are too low.". Im flabberghasted because this is the same pair of denim that I wear in a professional business environment. Regardless, I attempt to be diplomatic about this and express to him, "well, I have a belt on. Can I simply just pull my pants up?" At that point, he says "no". It became apparent to me that this had nothing to do with my pants since he simply expressed that I apparently didnt adhere to a dress code that has never had a problem with how I comport myself. But when I offer to adjust the way Im dressed so that I can get in, his response to refuse my willingness to change how I present myself felt nothing short of racist and also shocking. I dress rather well, I dont wear any sort of urban clothing or designer brand sneakers. I dress myself in a such a way that I can go from a business office to a bar and I maintain a simple style using basic colors. For someone to use the "dress code" excuse to bar me and then back pedal on that when I blindside them with acquiescence is ignorant, unfortunate, and simply bad business. Instead of simply complaining, I will take the initiative to make sure that people know, to make sure I never come back, and to make sure that I steer any social circle that Im with in the opposite direction of a business establishment that will allow such imbeciles to represent their business and their brand at the door. 2 years of patronage is gone and I will make sure that the same occurs with anyone that I am in the company of when I visit the Buckhead area.

Chad, I hear youre one of the owners of this place. Im extremely disappointed in the service my friends and I received from your so called Manager Mike and our server Elizabeth A. The food came out fast and was pretty good. However I only ate half of my Baja Burger and fries. My appetite was ruined. 35 minuted into our meal we hadnt received drinks. My friend went to the bar and informed Elizabeth that she forgot to take our drink order. 10 minutes after that I went to the other bar and asked another female server who is the manager? She stated she didnt know who the manager was (which I find absurd). I asked her who would know? She then pointed to a guy at the end of the bar. I asked him who is the manager he stated Mike. I then said where would I find Mike? He said hes outside. I then go outside and go to Security and ask where is Mike the manager? They point Mike out. I walk to him he was so cold and unconcerned when I explained of the poor service my friends and I received. He partially listened and when I finished speaking he never apologized for the way we felt. He said where are you sitting with an attitude as if I was bothering him. He said Ill send her over to you. I went back inside with my friends and told them lets go and were never coming back here again. Chad I dont expect any better from your staff, Ive looked through the reviews and your response is only an apology and the problems havent been fixed. After another 5 minutes our drinks arrive. My friends ordered me sweet tea. To add insult to my situation my tea was unsweet. This was the worst food experience of my life.

My friends and I came here for my friends birthday and wanted to have a good time but instead we were randomly assaulted and thrown out of the bar for no reason after my black friend bought several drinks. We didnt even get to drink the drinks. When we were asked why, the bouncer said its because "your type arent allowed here." Take into account we are two asian, a black, and a hispanic male. There were no other minorities in the bar and I guess now I know why. They only serve to one kind of person and I only wish to be treated the same way as everyone else but I felt VERY disrespected as a customer. This is no respectful business that anyone should go to. We reported assault against the bouncer and he lied to the officer so he got off clean of course because the officer wouldnt believe us. Honestly, if you want to have a good time DO NOT come to this place. Unless you are white then you are welcomed, other than that, dont come here! The bouncer grabbed us while we were just standing there and I feel very offended I was treated in this manner. Im officially barred from this place but its not like I will ever go back again. DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to disrespectfully treated.

My latino husband and my black "self" tried to get into this place and instantly one of the bouncers started flashing a light on my husband shoes, I guess to signal the other bouncers. We were dressed very professional and then we were told, he could not wear those boots, casual BOOTS!! Mind you, two white males with v neck cotton shirts, cargo bottoms and sneakers were let right past us with no questions. Very upsetting. I hate to just pull the race card, so we did a little experiment, because we just love to believe that everyone is treated equally as the G.M. claims. So we had our white friends, blond hair, blue eyes, to wear the EXACT things we had on that night for another night. I walked up every Saturday until I noticed those faces of the bouncers again, pretended to be curious or just walking through, leave and then gave them the cue to go in. With no questions, they were let it. Treated equally, my ass! Cool experiment btw... So YES! THIS PLACE IS RACIST!!!

Before I left Valet and got to the door, they wouldnt let me in saying I was sagging when I only had long cargo shorts on...... then tried to say i needed a belt when the shorts had a draw string and but closed with a zipper on them. Im a grown man in my 30s with 3 degrees I have no reason to so call "sag", but I didnt argue with them because someone told me about the reviews before I go there I just like to see things for myself. So if you are "black" ( I cant speak for any other races) be prepared to get the UN-WELCOMED treatment at the door before u even get it. I told my group of people who were going to meet me there to turn around and meet me at TACO MAC and had a great time and spent over $300 and tipped well no matter what they may think about "my kind"..... I knew it was crazy when the valet told me it was crazy what they were doing when I asked for my money back for the valet because they wouldnt let me in.
