I am so disappointed. First, lets start with the fact the price is not $4.75 but $7.75 per adult. I expected this place to be small, but I didnt expect a poorly maintained aquarium with animals in improper containers. I think the pictures on their website were taken the day they opened, because it doesnt look that clean and well taken care of. The place is need serious need of a remodel. I was SHOCKED to see a baby gator in a standard fish tank. This poor animal doesnt have enough room to even turn around! From snout to tail, its about the length of the tank its in. The large fish tank is murky and although there are signs saying the murky/dirty water is normal because thats whats healthy for the fish, I call BS on that. Sounds more like lack of cleaning and poor filtration system. If you want to see fish, go to the Florida Aquarium, where PROFESSIONALS actually take care of the animals.

Its an aquarium. Sooo you expect to see tanked fish and reptiles. Im not sure why some of these reviews are negative and people feel sorry for the fish. Then you shouldnt have paid to go in. What did you expect? Some teleportation into an underground tunnel into the middle of the ocean seeing fish in their natural habitat? Lets be realistic you get what you pay for. If you feel sorry for the tanked fish and reptiles maybe you should have some pity for the cow youre eating while stuffing that burger in your mouth. *Rant over* The aquarium is pretty neat for $7-$8. They have a gator, alligator snapping turtle, snakes, sharks, big fish, stingrays (you can feed), lobsters, and some other cool stuff. Its worth the money. Its a couple bucks for a good cause and every hour they do live feedings or take the snakes out. Its a great adventure for kids and worth the time.

Neat attraction! We stopped in with our two boys (age 2 and 6). We figured it would be great fro the price and it was more than worth it. While this is a small aquarium there is plenty to see and do for kids. It is more than a fish tank as the kids can touch and interact with many of residents. We enjoyed the ray touch tank, shark feeding, and snake talk while we were there. The play place next door is also included in the price and was a good opportunity to burn some energy before heading to our next destination. Our older son liked feeding the sharks and watching the goliath grouper best. He was a little creeped out by the fact that he had so enjoyed his grouper at dinner the night before. I would certainly recommend and we will return if we have the opportunity.

Small, fun, nice for tourists to experience Tarpon Springs wildlife upclose. The stingray petting tank and the touch tank are the best for people with kids. I fully reccomend to not support the TSA, though. Being someone who was employed there, its a dirty place where the animals are sometimes not treated as well as they could be. A lot of employees would get sick because the place was so dirty and many of the divers for the shark tank were worked to exhaustion. Many people complain about how the animals are kept and PLEASE realize it is not up to the employees to make any decisions but its up to the owner of the aquarium. We love the animals just like you may love your cat or dog but were helpess beyond our everyday jobs of cleaning and feeding.

I expected this place to be small, but it was about half the size I thought it would be. This place is *not* handicap-accessible in the least. Not even remotely. I dont think anyone with a walker or baby stroller would be able to get through - let alone a wheelchair. The ladies room is ridiculously tiny. The thing that got my attention on the website was the daily "alligator feeding shows." I saw an alligator show, which happened at the same time as the listed "alligator feeding show" but there was no feeding involved whatsoever. There was also no explanation of why the alligator feeding show wasnt happening as advertised. The dive show/shark feeding show was really pretty darned cool, though.

It is a small aquarium but it is a blast for adults and children and is affordable. They have several shows that are hands on and they are very informative. One shows includes a scuba diver feeding sharks, Goliath Grouper, and many other fish. They let you touch the alligator and large snake.(all safe and supervised by professionals). They also have a pool of sting rays that you can touch and feed. You also get to watch the alligator snapping turtle named Shrek, and the alligator being feed which is pretty cool. There also is alot of Greek restaurants near the aquarium you can dine at, and lots of stores on the sponge docks.

I used to go here back in the mid 90s whenever I visited Tarpon Springs... and it was a fun place to go. I went recently and was disappointed. They now have a large number of large snakes (boas, pythons, etc) which is fine... but they now seem to emphasize the reptiles more than the aquarium. It also appears that the aquarium in no longer maintained and stocked as well as it once was. The touch tank was horrible, many of the rays appeared to be sick, and several were injured... I would not recommend touching them (or wash your hand very well afterwards if you do). I wont go again...

Meh. The staff is really nice and the price is VERY fair. My kids had a great time.... But my husband and I hated seeing how little space some of these animals had to move around!! I felt terrible for the turtle and gator as soon as you walk in through the door - they hardly had room to turn around! Finally, the shark tank could do with a good scrubbing. I had to lift the baby often so she could see past the algae that has accumulated. The kids LOVED the fact that they could touch and feed the sea creatures - great for young ones.

Absolutely in love with this place. Growing up Ive never had good experience with ocean life. Shocked by a jelly fish, pinched by a crab, almost had a pelican tackle me lol. I grew fearful of ocean life but this place really shows the beauty and the mystery behind them. It was so much fun! I had a plastered smile on my face especially while petting the sting rays and making friends with Oscar the Grouper. Beautiful place and the staff are friendly and informative. Save your $20-30 tickets to the Florida Aquarium and come here.

Just feel like its been going down hill. I know that are moving. And I wish that had people a little older than what seems to be highshoolers working and have real knowledge info on the animales they are representing. I litterly had to correct a guy on his info on the pythons. I hope when the new one opens they put the time and effort into training and making sure their employees can give correct information and be inviting when clients are in the aquarium.

Best lil place!! We got to hold a snake & get pics! Also a gator! Shark tank is breathtaking!! We fed & petted stingrays! Fed sharks! Alligator feeding show & shark show was amazing!! The kids also get to play in the bounce house next door free with aquarium admission! You also get stamped at entrance, so you can go back in again throughout your Tarpon Springs day visit! Tickets are extremely reasonable too! The staff is greattt!!
