We just left there. I left not happy at all!. We walked in sat at bar. Which had a few empty seats even agyer we sat down. Waited a while. There was 2 bartenders working on at the bar we sat at. The girl helped everyone else and some 2 times and not to us. The guy was counting tips then stopped and walked to guy next to use who just finished a drink and started to serve him. I was pissed looked at my husband and said loud enough so the bar tender heard lets go! And he looked shocked and said "Sorry" to my husband. The hosted even heard me and said she was sorry and said "if they dont want to serve us then we wont stay. My husband told her what happened. The bar tender waved at her w a smile.so NO I dont go back and that was our first time walking in there now it is our last time too.

I wouldnt even give it a 1 in all honesty. We just got off the ferry and this was the first place we went. At first we were taken care of and then when a waitress came back to check on us I told her I disliked my meal and ate not even half of the sandwich. She offered no other option. And on top of this we were there for an hour and the "band" was doing an hour long sound check! It was so loud and noisy thr band was screaming obnoxiously into the microphones. This honestly was the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant!

I was there twice this summer, Pirate Weekend and last weekend. We had the Mississippi BBQ Shrimp both times. It is awesome. I had A Shrimp PoBoy sandwich the first time. Also awesome. This last time I had a Blackened Walleye Sandwich. Guess what- awesome. The Mrs. had a burger the first time, and a perch basket the second time. She raved about both. The Rum Runner was great, her Bloody Mary was top notch. Andy was our server. He was friendly and efficient. Great place to people watch. Well go back for sure.

There a few weeks ago. Wifes chicken sandwich was dynamite and so was the spinach dip. Unfortunately thats the end of the good. The service below anything Ive experienced before. The server took almost 20 minutes to greet us and our food took way longer than it should have. My pulled pork sandwich was probably the worst Ive ever had. It was more like a mushy tuna fish. Considering they werent busy, there was no excuse for the lack of service. Will not be back.

stopped for dinner in 2014 with family waited almost 45 minutes for a peach sandwich the place was empty around 4;30 pm. the perch could hardly been seen on the sandwitch was the size of a small chicken tender.My wife and kids went back today 7-04-15 she ordered a blacked chicken sandwich it was more pathetic than the perch a few little pieces of cut up chicken. will never be back.posting this on facebook 300 + friends.total disgusted.

"When in Rome - - -" for us a long standing tradition is when were at the Bay its a perch or walleye sandwich at the Boat House for lunch! Hasnt changed, still delicious, good service, (although we are weekday at the Bay people )and of course the view from the outdoor patio!

I will never eat there again my husband daughter and granddaughter had perch they loved it I had a hamburger and a half hour after I ate I got diarrhea which hasnt stopped its been 4 hours made for a lousy rest of day on Put and Bay leaving early after paying prices here

Live music was the draw. Once in though, the 80s band was good the first set but the 2nd and 3rd sets kinda killed the momentum. Also, had all lights on. Would have liked it more it darker dance floor. Good time

Its a resort town so my expectations werent high but the prices were. Two adult and for kids meals came to 75 bucks. The food was decent but nothing that inspired me to plan a return visit. The Guinness was good!

We had dinner at the Boathouse today! Our server Bakita was very attentive and sweet! My Hubby had the strip steak and I had the perch!! We had fun eating on the patio people watching! Well be back again!

Came here fairly intoxicated looking for some food at the outside bar. Bartender was good. Food came fairly quick and the fish sandwich i had was one of the best i ever had. Full of flavor and fun

This is on a beautiful island in Lake Erie and the atmosphere is easygoing and fun. The food is delicious and you can be inside or outside on warm sunny days. Service is prompt and friendly.
