Ive worked in restaurants and bars for over 10 years and was both a lead server and bartender. For me to want to write such a long review let me tell you that this place needs all the help it can get. I came with my family here on Saturday night with a broken leg but with my family with the intentions to have fun. I was told to wait 45 min for a table to dine at. The restaurant had over 20 tables open tables around the restaurant. At first we thought it was for a party , but the tables remained available the entire time. I was waiting outside in the entrance area with my broken leg extremely exhausted. Management walked by me atleast 3 times (2 different managers(A lady and a gentleman) not once did either of them ask me if I needed a chair to sit atleast while I wait (mind you there was 10 chairs atleast avl right Infront of me inside the restaurant) The hostess were next to me the entire time and could careless to have any hospitality or manners at all. The bar on the other hand was packed, yet they still managed to get our drink order and deliver it to us while waiting. Management here sucks and because of it the employees suck because they have no form of direction or discipline. I see a lot of gossip and standing around in a place that could seriously be the bast place to come in Miami to spend family time at a affordable price. Change it up or I see you going bankrupt. I would put EVERYONE ON CHECK HERE. To top things off. This is my first time here since I was a little girl myself. They have this special that for $16 something you eat and get 1 hour play card. You can also upgrade it to two hours for $8 more dollars.. So after I sit down and order they bring me my cards, I then asked the server I wanted to upgrade the cards to the two hours and he tells me that management said no because the order has to be put in all at once. First off this was my first time here I had no idea. So I called the manager over, she then was very polite and kindly upgraded them for me. The food took over an hour. Once again the restaurant remained empty during our ENTIRE STAY. Once we were done eating and getting up from the table was when the lady manager came up to me and offered me a seat if I wanted to stay sitting down while my family played. I politely declined the offer. After such a horrible experience though, my family and I still had an amazing time playing all the games. And with that special we had so much playing time that we still have left over for next time. Before we left I walked into the bathroom and 2 cleaning ladys were there standing up basically sleeping with their eyes closed leaning against the wall. I figured they were done working and the bathrooms were spotless.. Of course they were the exact opposite. Horrible odor and dirty all around. Yet there were 2 employees in there. One other good thing and the only other good thing I have to say besides the bar, was the food.. The food was pretty good .. Atleast there we were all very satisfied and the games. Thats all I have to say

I ate at Gametime today and when I went to paid I provided the server with my Chase debit card back a few minutes later to tell me that she cannot find the card and asked me did I put money in the card I told her no I said it that I gave her my debit card then she and another manager search and they couldnt find my card and then they kept asking me to see if I had if I empty out my diaper bag I sure I gave it to them I had empty out my pocket I took out everything that I had and I show up them I did not have that card. Excuse my French but this bullshit. Im very very very upset about this because I love the coming to Gametime but I will take legal action and trust me I am serious on that part so do what you can to make this better. I have already posted on Facebook about this experience. I HOPE they will make it right. I will come there every day if I have to. I dont work far from there and neither does my boyfriend. We want this done but dont test me on if I will come everyday until this solved Trust me this is my debit card I do something like to get free stuff. Signed a Disappointed customer

What a rip-off. I used one of their electronic kiosks to purchase a play card, the transaction went through but just as I removed my bank card the monitor froze (charging me in the process, but not giving me a token card). The supervisor or manager guy (who was rude, I might add) opened the machine with a key, restarted the system, but told me I wouldnt be given a play card for my purchase--Id have to go to the counter and buy another. I walked out knowing that Id be double charged if I did so (which he claimed I wouldnt be). Lo and behold, the next morning my bank showed a charge of $25 dollars from that botched transaction. I even called the general manager and left a message and got nothing. Typical. Dont waste your time with this overpriced place with its terrible service (we get it, you dont like your jobs--aim higher, then!). You should be ashamed of yourselves. Some of us work hard for our money, and when we make business transactions in good faith, we expect good service in return. Mediocrity defined!

A Private User

Every since the new owners tokk over both the Miami and Tampa locations things have improved everyday. Theres a new surprise everytime we visit and the food has gotten much better. I go there sometimes during the day to work using the wireless internet just to get out of the office and let off steam. If you remember the place as Game Works youll totally be surprised now that its under new management and now Game Time, double the fun as before. The prizes are insane now forget the little candy rings and rubber balls, they have XBoxes, WIIs, Coach Bags, 42" TV sets, Jet Skis, Mopeds and even full size pool tables for prizes. So stop on by and win something big and enjoy a nice dinner or lunch break away from the boss. Les Giddings

Sorry excuse for an arcade. This place used to be called game works and actually had games, including a game that was a 2 story tall ride. Now theyre porting phone games into cabinets for whatever reason. The 6 player racing game isnt even connected to each other. Theres one fighting game, well at least its MvC2. If you just wanna jerk around a bit go for it but if you actually want to play some games go somewhere else. DDR is the only thing that saved this from 1 star

I always come here and I always have a great time, this time though a horrible waiter named Lazaro ruin my sons night. He got everything we ordered wrong and gave us horrible attitude. I hope I never see his bald head again and I feel horrible for anyone that gets attended by him. Game time used to be my favorite place to come eat and play but Ive never been treated so badly before. If you ever get attended by him do yourself a favor and just ask for another waiter.
