Updated review 6/24/17: Love this course. Great layout that is firm but fair. Excellent greens, best of anywhere in town. 3 stars because of the ranger. I appreciate when courses have a ranger to keep pace of play going smoothly. But a bad ranger can ruin a round and this one did. He pulls up and asks our group (as we are sitting waiting for the group in front to move so we can to hit), "how long do you think a round of golf should take?" We answer four hours. He says our group is twenty minutes behind. We point to the group in front of us. He says speed it up and pulls off, rather than apologize. Terrible approach, miserable way to handle slow play and he should be in a different position at the course. Now how many reviews he is mentioned in. Im the one who convinced our tour to book here instead of Bardmoor and this dashed an otherwise unanimous feeling that we made the right choice. We will be back, but if the same happens that would be the end.

The greens are in good shape. The course itself is decent. But the overall experience? Terrible. We booked on Golf Now, and Im pretty sure they overcharged our foursome by $20 when we all paid separately. When we brought it up to the Pro Shop, he had some mumbo-jumbo about fees. At the turn, we took 10min to piss and grab a hot dog, and the bartender lady had the personality of an old slug (me: "Ill have your hot dog-and-beer special, please." her: "We dont have a special. But you can buy a hot dog and a beer.") Ok.... Then the Ranger informed us that the twosome behind us was "ready to go" and that we took "way too long at the break," that now we "need to hurry and catch up." Who doesnt have time to pee and buy a hot dog at the turn? If youre in town for golf, Id avoid this place. For a better price, similar facilities, and nicer staff, try Mangrove Bay instead.

Went with my son to ride along with him during our yearly vacation at St Pete Beach. Got a tee time over the phone and was greeted upon arrival with a golf car, thorough briefing on the course by an extremely courteous course employee. The pro shop stop for tees and green fee payment was equally friendly. My son hit a bucket of balls on the range on the way to the first tee. Course was wet from several days hard rain but still in very good shape. Greens were great. Everyone seemed to be playing swiftly - so there was literally no wait all day. Lady in golf car riding around with food and beverages was very nice and on the ball - she passed us 4 times during our round. The shape/layout of the course and the friendliness of the staff will bring us back again. Thank you for a great afternoon with my son.

Our group just finished playing all 18 holes today 6/25 and I hate to say it but the course is in the worst shape of any course that I have played in the area. The fairways are all torn up and blocked off. At least 90% of them are. It is hard to believe that they would be charging full rates on weekends when the course is in such sad shape. I will say that the greens are in good shape, but a little slow compared to other country clubs in the area. My wife I were thinking about joining this club, but there is no way we would at this time. I can say that the pro shop staff was great and the bartender was awesome. But in sharing with fellow golfers, I would avoid this club until they get everything together.

I came from out of town and love playing courses in different areas around the country. I was not disappointed!! The course was very well maintained, had a great layout, and very strategically placed bunkers. Im just a casual golfer (low 20s handicap) and I really enjoyed my round here. Will definitely play again when I come back next October!!

This is a very playable course, with reasonable prices and a nice start in new the bar and restaurant. I buy a multi-tound package, which results in a good price per round. However, the lower price means they dont have dollars to Kerri the course in perfect condition. But dont get me wrong. It is a good course, but not lux. Good value.

I am a recent member of this course the layout is great and the greens are fast and the best around. The only negative i can honestly say is the course doesnt drain out well, when it rains hard its all mush the next day cartpath only. I still dont let that stop me its a nice layout, friendly staff and great condition.

This is one of my favorite courses in Pinellas County. Always in great condition. Challenging obstacles on many holes, but also not too difficult for the beginner-intermediate golfer like myself. Prime location too right off of Park Blvd. Easy to get to.

Course us very average which is why it is cheaper. If you can get tee time round for $20 its ok. Dont buy the lunch package you cant get it in the course and the kitchen closes at 3pm

Fairways in rough shape. Greens were decent and rolled true. Sand traps not so good. Not much to it. Typical Florida golf, flat and not particularly tuff.
