Agree completely on comment for the "rude dude" at front desk. So The Tides can narrow it down to an individual, he was working Friday, Oct 28th morning around 10am. Wish I would have got his name. We received an email special for $24.95, called the night before, mentioned email I received, man confirmed at tee time for 10:23am. When we arrived, i showed the email i received to the guy at the front desk, he stated that the deal was for after noon... very rudely mind you.... Agreed it was an over site on my part but he was not will to work with us. $35 something now or have to wait till after noon, if available. Guess his world runs with no mistakes. BTW TIDES, if you care.... WE LEFT! We visit your course religiously every time we visit the Tampa area and played 4 to 5 times each visit twice yearly. We were also backers with "Save the Tides" This is not the first time we have encountered rude treatment from the front desk.... you keep operating in this manner and loser customers, you will not have any more backers to save this course.

Played this course plenty of times as I live only 3 miles away. Ive seen all the varying states of course condition throughout the year. Greens are always bad. Burnt patches, slow, and bumpy. The fairways have patches of weeds and bare dirt spots. Just overall bad conditions and poorly maintained. I realize this is a public course, but for almost the same money you can play Bardmoor, Belleview, Lansbrook, or a number of other pub courses that wont hurt your score due to conditions. Could be a nice spot if they took care of it or spent the money hire the right grounds crew. Anyone here who thinks this course is "well maintained" or "has nice greens" is out of their mind and must have never played golf on a real course meticulously maintained by professionals.

I have been playing The Tides for several years and have found the course to be both challenging and excellent value for the money. The greens are well kept and while some fairways may have the occasional rough spots they are quite acceptable and you soon learn to avoid them. I have found everyone at The Tides to be friendly and accommodating with one exception, the Tuesday bartender, who seem to have developed an extremely bad attitude - an opinion shared by several of my friends. This woman needs to be corrected or replaced, because at present she is a detriment to the club.

I would rate this golf course 0 stars in its current condition and rates. We called made a tee time, they did not mention that the greens had been aerated, because it had been over a week since that had done it. They were still in unplayable condition, and the tides still charged full rate for for he round. The fairways had spotty grass combined with weeds and dirt. Some tee boxes were in such bad condition and were so uneven we had to just find flat ground to hit from. The course should have earned us about the condition and should never charge full price for that....

Man in Pro shop was as ride as can be. Very arrogant individual. The greens were horrendous. Very bumpy on one long put the ball hoped 4 inches in the air. We were putting on 17 and the sprinklers came on. Will NEVER play here again.

Waste of money. If you came to Florida to play golf this is not where you want to play. Fairways and greens were not cut. I dont think the cups had been moved in weeks. The greens had patches all over. It was cheap

the course is the worst conditioned course I have played. They state on their web site that they are friendly. This could not be further from the true. Over priced. Took 6 hrs to play. A complete mistake to play.

Ive been playing at the Tides for years. Quality course that sits on the inter coastal waters with all the natural hazards. Reasonable prices and the availability for email sign-up to receive weekly deals.

Course was in nice shape and the price was really reasonable. The greens were decent although a little slow for my taste (otherwise I would have given 5 stars). Pace of play was perfect.

Flat and boring course. Looks nothing like the pictures, greens were terrible, and the tee boxes were pretty much bunkers. Way too expensive and the pace of play was terrible.

Good local course. Course conditions are improving, decent loyalty program. You can shoot good if youre bad and bad if youre good here. Fun course. Bring mosquito repellent.

Were from Wisconsin first time a this coarse. You cant help mother nature due to recent rains. But inconsistentsys with management on pricing.
