Dear everyone, Dreamland is one of the best, loving & amazing, places to go with your family. Everyone is nice, and never treats you rudely or acts disrespectful. • To anyone talking about the dress code and actions of kids; They had 3 more cops than they usually do (5 in total) they cant have their eyes on everyone 24/7. If they saw it, or someone brought it to their attention (which you shouldve done if youre so worried about it) they wouldve asked them to stop, and if they didnt stop their actions, they would be kicked out. Plain and simple. For the dress code, parents allow their kids to dress how they do. It is not the skating rinks fault for how poorly kids dressed. (They werent being racist) but denying them entry to the building b/c of their clothes (as long as they have pants, shirts and shoes) is like denying them the right to come in b/c they are a certain skin color, weird looks/height, etc! The skating rink doesnt judge you on anything and as long as you have the right clothes on, they will let you in. • For people saying theyre racist for not letting you in; They are NOT racist!!!! Apparently you are to simple minded to understand what max capacity is! They could get fined, shut down, or worse for not following the laws/rules set in place to keep everyone SAFE! They didnt let you in b/c it was PACKED! It was for everyones safety! Also there was not only 5 people there! There was 800+ (I think it was close to 850 but I know it was over 800!!) • To people thinking its trashy or over priced; I have went to other skating rinks. One was a crappy wood floor with two small $5 discos on the roof with horrible speakers. The other had no floor guard (which keeps everyone safe) and was a tiled floor with something to go over the top to smooth it out. Dreamland replaces the floor very often, and it is top quality! They replace the carpets when they get dirty, they change out prices and games. They offer a great laser tag game! They have amazing speakers and lights EVERYWHERE! It cost a lot of money to keep all of this on for many hours a week! And then you have to pay for food and drinks. (They even have been adding more food to the menu for a wide variety for anyone!) STOP COMPLAINING that your $1 candy went up to $2 they couldve raised everythings prices up, but they didnt! But they only raise the candy in the candy machine (and it is starting to cost a lot more for anyone to buy candy so that may also be a reason for price increase, as they cant just loose money) They spend a lot of money on keeping everything up and running. Replacing things often, paying a good staff and a floor guard to keep you safe, etc! This is one of the best skating rinks to go to, if you dont like it, many others do. They dont need your service. There are people that come from 1-2 hours away (when they have a skating rink 15-30 mins away from their house) just b/c of how well kept and amazing the building, experience, and staff is! • For people complaining about falling; If you drive a car, you acknowledge the risk of another person crashing into you or your crashing yourself. Its the same with skating, you acknowledge the fact others could run into you, or you could fall from lack of experience. If someone is going dangerously on the floor, a floor guard usually stops them! Sometimes they are to busy getting onto others or helping people to notice them. There can only be one floor guard as that would take to much space for another (especially when theres 800+ people!!!!) if you have a problem, alert them! Thats what theyre there for!! Stop complaining and take action. I have been going to this skating rink for 5-6 years now. I have moved and tried out 10+ other skating rinks. I always come back to Dreamland. I go 1-3 times a week. I dont regret it, I dont have problems with it or the prices, etc. Why? B/c they do their absolute best to keep everything together. And provide an amazing time while doing so! I would invite anyone to come out and try it for yourself. You wont regret it!

Generally, the staff is pleasant & helpful. They have always known their jobs & were always glad to help. We have spent many hours over many many visits over there the past 5 years and Ive never run into ANY STAFF member or customer or deputy doing anything wrong at all... and Im not an easy, quiet customer anywhere I go. Ive never seen any drugs or smoking or drinking going on - and I would see it if there were. There are some adults & some teens but mainly these are children & pre-teens who arent perfect boy scouts but are average America skating rink kids. ITS A SKATING RINK not a church, these are just normal kids. They run a bit but arent cursing, etc., as some one else wrote. My 5 yr old learned to skate fr zero, falling all over, to avid recreational skater. Staff helped him many times, from bringing ice when he fell to serving us both cheerfully at both counters and working quickly when we were in lines. They seem to be caring. I have spent so much time sitting there that I started bringing with me things to keep myself occupied; no one ever bothered me. I could go on & on. The only thing they could do better would be the installation of massage chairs for parents to wait in! I have nothing to do with anyone who works there. Its just not a bad, dirty place with drugs & cursing. In all fairness thouhh, I dont go there on weekend nights, I know its packed then. Skates are old but seem to work. They manage to keep prices low, maybe thats how. They even make me a fresh cup of coffee in the evenings! Ive had nothing but a positive experience here.

There was six of us going. I understand not budging or helping with the price, but come to find out the rude lady on the other end of the phone was the owner. We get there and buy our wristbands to get in and our skate rental tickets and our little lunch ticket. The owner is extremely rude. We know us saying it was better last year is not the nicest thing to say, but its even worse for the owner to roll her eyes at us. We get to the counter to rent our skates, now that lady was super nice. She had a great attitude and actually gave us smiles. She cleaned our skates too before giving them to us. We get on the rink. Its a great surface to skate on. Although, get a new DJ please. Over half the songs I didnt even know. And the songs I did were badly mixed with other songs. They were barely recognisable. Off to get lunch. Now the snack counter lady was nice too. My sister is allergic to certain things so they were able to replace the slice of pizza with a hot dog. Thank you. Dont dream of getting water from the water fountain though, unless you like warm water. A tip that worked for me, drink your drink you get with the lunch ticket, then with the ice still in the cup, put the water from the fountain in with the ice. Worked for me. Overall, the referees were rude, the owner was rude, and the service was alright. Were going to think twice about dropping $50 next time. It can be spent better. Also, they stopped using Groupon.
