First impressions from the club house facilities were very favourable, but as we teed of there was two other groups on the first hole, and others waiting behind us. From there it became worst. The tee boxes, fairways, greens are all in terrible condition. This course is in the poorest condition of any I,ve played here in Florida. Today was in the high seventies and we did not see a cart girl, or marshall through our complete round. To top it all off the Pro shop closed at 5:00 pm. They lost out on shop sales.(balls and shoes) At $25 plus cart per round, it should be in more of the $10-$12 range and then Id have to be hard up to play it again. My suggestion is find another facility to spend your Bucks

I have been playing at Brooker Creek, formerly Tarpon Woods CC, for many years and right now, during the summer 2011, the course looks better than I have EVER seen it. The roughs are mowed perfectly to be aesthetically pleasing, looking like the roughs on Tour courses. The greens are immaculate and roll so very smooth. The fairways, wow. It is very apparent that they are mowing every day and keeping the course in excellent condition, despite the slow times of the summer season. I will always recommend this golf course and I dare anyone to find a better looking and playing course right now.

After playing three other courses here in Florida I was very happy to find TW. The older reviews should be eliminated. The course is in the best shape of any of the four I have played over the last three weeks. Fairways actually had grass (not so at Tarpon Springs), the sand in the bunkers was actually soft and one could swing through it and the greens were in good shape (again, not so at TSprings). Tricky in spots,but fair. Going back again this week!

First time there and the debit machine did not work. It took all my cash to pay (I was lucky to have enough with me). The greens are pretty sad and the fairways on the first nine had a lot of debris on them. There are no maps anywhere to show where you are aiming and measurements appear to be really off from the tee boxes to the greens when you read from the score card. The carts appear to be new and were clean. Im not sure I would return.

I used to like this course, thought it played well and was a good value for the money. Not any more. Played this on April 21, 2010 and was appalled by the conditions. Tee boxes, faiorways and greens were in very poor condition. Many greens had more dead spots than live grass. Will never go back again. Go to Lansbrook (right down the street) or other nearby courses which actually have grass growing on their tee boxes and greens.

Asked the receptionist the condition of the course ( knowing it was in poor shape ) and said the course was in good condition and that the "greens were air raided". After the first hole, weeds are everywhere and dirt patches all over the green. 1 star for not being honest.

The course is in good condition. Tees are not fairways and greens are. Have played there many times down thru the years, had some misgivings from reading reviews, glad I went and will go back. If they keep the rates reasonable no reason not to play there.

The course is not in playable shape. The greens and tee boxes rarely had grass. So disappointed. The good thing was there was nobody in front of us. Further there was nobody behind us. I may go buy a bag of grass seed and drop it off.

You can get out for a good price, and it has a great layout. But the greens need some serious work, and my last time there, the pins had not been moved in at least a week, leaving very ragged holes, And it plays best for a southpaw.

This golf course has been redone with new management. Although the course is not excellent by florida standards, yet, the value is. the greens are nice and the course is fun without being too difficult.

Im not sure what "greatly improved" course conditions mean to them, as this course has deteriorated to unplayable. Parking lot was empty the morning we played, and after a few holes we knew why!

Nice course but they have Beef o Bradys instead of a snack shop bring extra money because a small snickers bar is 2 dollars
