My wife and I really looked forwarded to enjoying our first round of the year. The price was right as we booked it online. The staff was very polite and professional. However, from there it was not a good experience. We were 15 minutes late in teeing off the first tee and it was easy to see why as we were playing the 2nd hole. As we looked to our left, there was a 6 some on hole number four and a 5 some in front of our group and then another one behind our group. Like really????? You allow 6 and 5 some’s on the course? After a 5 hour round we decided to go into the clubhouse lounge and have lunch as our booking allowed us to have a $1 off a draft beer and we were hungry anyway. Well, the food and service was good. However, the 6 some was in the bar and the language being used actually was totally in tolerable even for me as Marine veteran. All that we heard for the next hour as we ate was MF this, F that, B this, and A that, like really? The true sadness of this whole experience was there were a couple of us that was actually looking at the possibility of becoming members. I can say that we what we experienced today, we would never join this club if they allow the 6 & 5 some’s plus allow the language in the clubhouse that we experienced. If you plan on having your wife or family join you in a round of golf here I would highly advise you to be aware of what they allow within their course rules and regulations when it comes to their membership. If you are going to allow what is occurring you should consider having a member’s only course and not a semi-private facility.

I have played hundreds of golf courses in my life and I have never seen an employee yell at paying customers like I saw at Wentworth. Some older gentlemen tried to put their cooler in the cart at the turn. The cooler had cherries and water inside, no booze. Some dude then storms out of the club house raising hell. "If you try to get that cooler one more time, you will be leaving MY golf course!", he said. I dont know if this guy was a bag boy or the club pro, not that it matters. It is the middle of the summer, 100 degrees and humid as hell, and there is no beverage cart or water coolers on the course. "YOU CAN GET DRINKS AT THE BAR LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!", the hothead continues. Well my buddy and I had tried that at the beginning of the round already. They give you a 6 pack in a plastic bucket, so if you want cold beer you better drink it all during the first hole before the ice melts. So if you like warm beer or getting yelled at for trying to drink water and eat cherries, this is your place.

OK so its 52 degrees out side Im wearing 3 layers and the pro shop counter person says, NO COLLAR? I told him Im putting on another sweater in two minutes, he just looks at me..... Great start to a golf day. Then we were drivin up on on the 2nd fairway, right up to and over our carts, rude and wrong! The twosome did apologize as we stopped in our tracks in the fairway and let them play through. BULLSHIT! No bev cart, no ranger, $6 beers in the clubhouse, thats like strip club prices right? narrow, narrow, its a players course, faders stay clear, its a left, center course. Not hurrying back any time soon...

We had First Communion event for our son this year. Allison, Jessie and Scott were very helpful in setting everything up. We were a little nervous about the venue but the whole management changed few months back and they have a new cook who did excellent job. The reception room is pretty and looked beautiful after we set up decorations. Allison gave us a few hints which worked great. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We also went for Mothers Day event this year and it was very, very nice with lots of delicious food, sweats, beautifully set up tables etc. I think it was just perfect.

Went to check out the club to join. They must be the RUDEST bunch of disgusting people on the planet. How do you work in a pro shop and not have any people skills? Oh, I know, the boss is exactly the same. If they continue to allow minimum wage, not very intelligent people run their business, they will be bankrupt within a year. I would not join this club if it was free and they gave me a ride there everyday. 2nd rate want to bes.

The staff is absolutely terrible inside. The so called "head pro" (Donna) constantly is smoking cigarettes. Another mean old guy was in there named Frank Reynolds, no respect for anyone what so ever. Long story short I will never be golfing there again. Slow rounds, rude people, terrible management. The food even took 45 minutes, was edible nothing special.

So very disappointing! We arranged to have our small company holiday party there and the food was absolutely horrible! It was a party of 18 and they assured me that they would do a good job. My employees deserved a lot better! To top if off, the events director was supposedly there to make certain everything went well and she was totally useless!!!

Very nice golf course. A string of holes toward the end of the second nine are very impressive for a course open to the public. Range is lacking (hitting off mats) and a few of the tee boxes need work but fairways are fine, bunkers well-maintained and the greens are in excellent shape. Restaurant is fine - nice space and good pub fare.

I like the challenging layout. The course itself is great. The pace of play here is horrible, as in consistently horrible. Ive played here numerous times and have yet to play a 4 hour round. If time is of no consequence, play here. I promise youll see a 5.5 hour round.

Played in December 2012. Staff was very helpful and friendly, loved the course layout. The food in the clubhouse was excellent. Wentworth Golf Club in Tarpon Springs is a course you should definitely see if you are in the area. Tarpon Springs is just north of Tampa, FL.

First class establishment. They do an amazing job working with you for any event that you or your organization have planned. I have heard many positive things about their golf course and know that they work with many local high schools acting as their home course.

Booked two rounds through Golfnow in January while on vacation. Hands down the best value golf I have ever experienced. Great facility, welcoming staff, challenging course and immaculate greens. Cant say enough good things about Wentworth.

One of my favorite places to golf. Its a tough course with fast greens. Always in great shape. The pace of play can be a little slow at times. I never encountered any rude employees. Theres a cart girl about half the time.
