I regularly bowl on a league and have been for over 10 years. The quality from the overall appearance to the food to the lanes has decreased dramatically. It does not seem like they are keeping up with normal wear and tear. The bathrooms are always disgusting. From other people not flushing, to half the faucets dont work, to water or something else on the floors, I always fear going in. They are not frequently cleaned. I used to order fries with nacho cheese until the day I got my fries and they were covered with some nasty white cheese that wasnt meant to be used in that way. When I spoke to our server who is our regular server, she was surprised to find out the kitchen changed the cheese and didnt bother to inform her. Our lanes break on a weekly or biweekly basis and when you call the front desk on the intercom, they either dont respond or you have to repeat yourself 6 times before they get what you are asking for. There is always crap on the floor from people who come in and eat during the day at the tables so Im always picking up food off the floor because I dont want it to get on anyones shoes. A few weeks ago, came in and all the tables, floors and chairs were covered in an oily white substance. The floor messed up my shoes and they did clean the boards after we requested it, but my shoes were already beyond repair so one foot stuck all night and the other foot slipped. The lanes arent being cared for properly because you can throw a perfect ball and it leaves you with a strange arrangement of pins. I dont throw a curve but I know those who do and they get the same response due to the way the lanes are being "maintained" or lack thereof. They put in a Zombie experience thing so they had enough money to do that, but apparently they had to cut costs everywhere else to fund that, so this is the result. I dont go there to see Zombies, its not my thing, I am there to bowl, but I guess theyd rather be trendy than a true bowling alley. Skipping the summer league because of how bad things have gotten and may not be back in the fall if this continues. Ill go to another house where they actually care about their bowlers instead of some run down house grasping at straws to make money and cutting costs on relevant things.

The $1 games and the close proximity is what keeps me coming but this place could be better. There are very few water fountains and none of them work. If I build up a thirst, I have to wait in line at the restaurant and take up their time to get some water. I wish they would make water more easily accessible. Also, their equipment does not give you metrics like ball speed, and the overhead monitors are old CRT TVs. The approach has a tackier feel which makes it harder to slide your foot. Overall, this is a fun and clean bowling alley with great prices, but has some room for improvement. 2017 update: I changed this from 3 stars to 4 stars. The front desk staff has always been very nice to me and I am treated very well while I am there. This alone deserves a star.

Horrible place, right on the ghetto, parking lot out of shape, people smoking right outside the front door. We couldnt even bowl, they didnt let us, supposedly they have 70 or more lanes, when we got there they had one side of the alley totally empty and the other one was reserved for some party for Aflac, when we asked the front desk if they had any lanes open, they asked if we were with Aflac, when we said no, they told us that we had to come up after 8:00 pm when the Aflacs party was over. Unbelievable Saturday afternoon and they chased customers away! Never going back there again, this place shouldnt have 4.3 stars, should have 1. Horrible customer service!

I really like the arcade at Boardwalk Bowling, but unfortunately they are affiliated with a company that provides these games. The company, called Prime time amusements, has faulty non-working arcade machines that rip off the customers. Ive been to Boardwalk twice in this past week, and ran across arcade machines that do not dispense prizes, or just arent working at all. I talked with the management at Boardwalk, but they shift the blame on Prime Time Amusements, and dont offer anything for their customers. Firkin & Kegler is a better place to spend your money.

Great place and great atmosphere with friendly staff. Great price for bowling. Great food at decent prices and the bartender made delicious drinks. 80 lanes for bowling cant beat that. My only complaints are the arcade seems to have quite a few games out of order. I was surprised to see they still had crt screens for scoring. And the zombie boardwalk scoring seemed broken. All in all its a great place to bowl and to spend a good family day.

I use to come here for league tournaments all the time! I moved to Orlando permanently, now my friends and I always choose this alley to meet up at!(= They have incredible service, a huge arcade, a great selection of food and drinks, all for a really great cost!(= The only reason I am not rating five stars is because every time we go for cosmic bowling, my friends who need a lane ball can never find one. They might need to invest in some more (=

This is one of the cleanest bowling alleys Ive ever been to in my entire life. Between the alley, the bar, the arcades games and air hockey tables, its a college kids dream. Im not sure about it being family-friendly during the evenings (especially Thursday - Sunday), but its a great place to get away from campus and just relax. Sure, with F&K, theres some heavy competition, but this is definitely the less crazy and less expensive option.

Great place to have some drinks, Bowl, Shoot pool, or visit the bar for lots of live events. I have seen Karaoke, Trivia, and stand-up. Would be 5 stars but this place tends to attract a bad crowd. People have been shot, and last few times there i have had things stolen off of my table. Last time i watched a fight between the bartender and someone who stole a bottle. Two cops parked outside just watched till the guy ran.

The bowling lanes are awesome, and theres a ton to do - but if you plan on being there long, eat before or after you go! The food is consistently horrible, tasteless, pricey for what it is and always makes a few of us sick (Im recovering from eating there last night!) Aside from that, it makes for a great night, the bowling, arcade, billiard tables and golf are always a blast. Just avoid the food, really.

Recently attended an office holiday party hosed by Boardwalk Bowling. It was great fun! The facility is huge! Full row of lanes on each side of the building, a bar with billiard tables in between, a full arcade, a more private bar with comedy club and a paintball gun range that was zombie themed tucked away towards the back. If you enjoy bowling, youll definitely will want to check this place out!

I signed my son up for summer camp at Bordwalk Bowl and discovered this morning that he could only stay half a day or we had to pay an extra $30 to go on a field trip. Nothing in the sign up information for the camp said anything about field trips either that there would be no care provided if you didnt sign up or that there would be extra charges. This is a real con.
