I visited with my best friend today around 3:30. The museum itself is great and not the reason for the poor review. The security is. After seeing other pictures of people laying on the bed, I thought it was okay. One side of the bed isnt tapered off. There was no sign saying that we could not be on the bed. Security comes in telling us that we have to go. When puzzled and asking what the problem is, he starts yelling and cursing at us saying "f**ck it"" and "get the f**k out". After about a minute or two, he literally puts his hands on my best friend to force us out. She had to tell him to get his hands off of her and tried yet again to reason with him and tell him that there was no reason for him to come at us yelling and cursing like hed already been having a bad day. After a few minutes he just yelled "f**k it" and left us alone. I understand that we were wrong but thats no way to treat customers, especially since we tried to explain that there are pictures of other people doing it and werent aware that it was off limits in the first place. I have pictures of the bed missing its "do not touch" sign and not being completely tapered off but dont know how to post them from mobile lol.

La collezione è impressionante per quantità ma si ha limpressione che molto sia lì per "fare numero". Qualche pezzo è interessante, ma secondo me non vale il prezzo del biglietto. Inoltre, se lo guardiamo dal punto di vista museale, purtroppo tantissimi pezzi hanno una descrizione solo didascalica, senza nessun approfondimento.

After a few days of a bit too much sun I left the beach behind for the WEAM. Im a big fan of erotica having been to several places that have collections both domestically and internationally. I spent a full afternoon here by myself and by no means was I disappointed. The staff was extremely accommodating over a few questions I had about some of the pieces. I left becoming more knowledgeable about different cultures and lifestyles. Theres several good laughs inside too:) It would be a great place to go on a fun educational date. The collector is really thoughtful to share her collection with the public. I really had a nice time!

Todo tipo de arte erótica das mais remotas datas, possui até esboços eróticos de Pablo Picasso. Quadros, estatuetas e bibelôs de natureza erótica que demonstram que a arte erótica é milenar. A quantidade de peças do museu é impressionante, sem falar na qualidade da grande maioria das peças.

Per caso sono passato davanti al museo e mi sono incuriosito. Devo dire che è veramente molto interessante, dallarte antica dellerotismo alla mostra di articoli più moderni. Francamente educativo, interessante e molto vario. Consigliata una visita (struttura molto grande a più piani).

It was an interesting place to visit. Although most of the pieces are fairly recent, they have a fair selection of works older than 200 years and a decent selection of works from other countries. There was more to see than I thought there would be and I appreciate the late hours. It was nice to be able to have something to do in the late evening. I think its worth the asking price, 12 dollars I think. I didnt see how parking was because we walked.

Coleção interessante de artigos eróticos. Tem pinturas, desenhos, esculturas, estatuetas, mobiliário, etc de todo o mundo. Vale a pena uma visita. Não é todo o dia que nos deparamos com um museu deste tipo.

A Private User

A fun museum with a large, private collection of interesting works. Good for a date as long as the girl has an open mind and a sense of humor; definitely houses some conversation-pieces! Also has a little more historical information than you might expect. They tell you not to take pictures, and post signs telling you to not take pictures, so dont take pictures (Im looking at you, Thomas..even though you do take some great pictures).

Try really really hard to appreciate this private ART collection. Dont get me wrong some pieces made me blush and thats not easy to do. This museum is in s great location in South Beach. The $15.00 is reasonable. You can take your time and view erotic art pieces from all over the globe and at different places in time. I will post some pics but Yelp may remove them. The Snow White and 7 Dwarfs art caught me off guard

My wife and I came here while visiting Miami Beach for the day. This is an amazing collection of items that actually have an interesting history to each piece. I was amazed by how much is actually here and takes quite a bit of time to walk through so we felt we got our moneys worth. Overall I liked the museum and feel the staff does an amazing job at showcasing various cultures eroticism while keeping it classy.

This is not a huge gallery. But it is packed full of bizarre, beautiful pieces of erotic art. Some are funny, some ridiculous, some are honestly just nudes. But the collection as a whole is definitely unique and worth the trip. It shouldnt be more than an hour walkthrough overall, and its a nice little side trip. Wish they had a more extensive gift shop, though!

The doors are locked an hour prior to the advertised time. I arrived at 9:10pm in a party of six to find the doors already closed. I called and was informed that if you dont arrive 60-90 minutes before the closing time, you will be denied entry, even though this "rule" is not made public anywhere. Unacceptable customer service made it NOT worthwhile.

Interesting collection. Felt like I was going into a back alley pep show walking in (you make your way through a corridor and then up three flights of steps) but inside the displays and gallery was very tasteful. I understand the no pictures policy as this is a private collection, but really wish I could share my experience with others not with me.

This place was way bigger than I expected and a lot more historical than I expected too. I was expecting a couple small exhibits that were sexually revealing, but actually theyre are tons of large show rooms with relics from hundreds of years ago. It was pretty cool to see how different we express sexuality from our ancestors

Absolutely tremendous collection. The museum could help having more information on the diverse themes, or why each country had different tendencies (like why Hungary always has demons??), but overall a fantastic museum. Very pleased to have gone, I recommend it to anyone who visits the area.

Came here to stay out of the heat but the ticket line was almost a block long with no shade. The admission price is affordable and the exhibits (especially the dinos!) made me squee like when I was a 3rd grade girl on my first field trip. Will be coming back here for the Mummies exhibit

A truly.. interesting venue. Lets just say that for the 18+ crowd thats looking for a good laugh while still being artistic this is a must if youre down by south beach. If wine isnt being served make sure to get a drink by Clevelander first!

They have more collections than I have expected starting from ~300 B.C. but they have more modern contemporary art collections. The place is dusty though so if youre badly allergic to dust, you might want to reconsider going to this place.
