Two Months ago, We tried to plan a trip for 18 family members in town today for a birthday celebration. They were very difficult to get ahold of, then hard to schedule a group. We just went to Downtown Disney today (16 of us), and thought we would drag our group in and split it up. They were pretty busy, and put us in two tables apart from each other. We had kids at one table with a couple adults, and adults and young adults at the other. We didnt have a whole lot of time with one family headed for the airport in an hour. Our waiter took about 5 minutes to get to us with 5 young kids thirsty and hungry and anxious. They got coloring menus without crayons, and were frustrated. Once ordered, things came quickly. But the soup tasted like canned soup. The kids macaroni was $8 bucks with no sides, no drink included. The Maduro appetizer was like 9 bucks for four pieces. It tasted good, but too much for too little. We had 8 at the table and three appetizers, which werent enough for the table. Appetizers came with our meal. There was no special music or anything fantastic about the atmosphere. When theres no atmosphere, all you have is the service and the food to look to. The two groups were served by two different servers, the other quickly and happily. Ours slowly, and drawn out. So the kids were waiting on their food while the other table was finishing up. They were anxious and tired and now starved waiting. Someone needs to pay attention to children and make sure they are happy, or with a 4 year old like Jack we had with us, the whole restaurant atmosphere could be demolished. I got up and grabbed a cup, went to the drink dispensor and filled a water for him, as he was yelling that he was thirsty with no one paying attention. They forgot one childs food (out of 5 children), and she had to wait while the others ate. They forgot one adult meal (out of 3 adults), so we cancelled it because she was still waiting while everyone else was done. We spent $300 on 16 people including children. Afterwards, Jack says " I want to see upstairs." The server started making vicious remarks toward my sister and her son to the front counter which I cannot repeat. Yes he was getting noisy. Things were too slow for a four year old. They deserve whatever Jack could dish out. He snuck into the drumset area, and his mom got him out quickly. My sister was then reprimanded by the staff harshly with a zero for the restaurant on customer service skills. Our waiter, who goofed up so badly included gratuity on the check, while the other table did not. I believe he knew he had a short-change coming for his nonchalant attitude, bad service, and missed meals. I would never recommend Bongos. For Cuban there is a terrific little corner Bakery In Cape Coral for pennies on the dollar. They own their shop, and they cherrish their customers, and the food is better. Let their lease run out and install a business with Disney-Like customer service skills. Overall opinion was that Bongos offers $5 service for a $50 price.

I was having the time of my life ,thats orlando disney ,you forget everything,so I offer my friends cortaditos (coffe with milk) but very little ,and a guava pastry ,I order outside by the window ,before I got serve the young girl made me paid ,so I gave them my card and they say is 26 dollars and some change, I thought there was a mistake ,I ask how much is the cortaditos they say 5.75 each, coming from miami I know is way over price are you kidding me!!!! So I told them I dont want it,and I respect there prices ,it is what it is ,while I was waiting for them to void the transaction, the gentleman next to me ,made a coment to one of the servers, telling them when pp are from miami and you give them the price it is very shocking, she say that is why I give the prices first ,but pp should know when they go to a place they should know where they are going to order, all of this conversation is in front of me, like I was not there ,so I wait for the gentlemen to live I call the girl and I spoke to the girl quietly in one corner ,I say first you talk to the men like I was not there ,second you never gave me the prices, in meantime her and another girl are giving me attitude and making weird faces ,I told one of them not to do that with her face, and I say it was very very unprofessional, and I left ,very upset my friends told dont let them spoil our day ,I really want it to talk to a manager so they can give a new training to this girls ,there customer service is on the floor ,show no respect for customer ,I would be very surprised if no other person had a bad experience with them ,down town disney and park basically orlando is a tourist destination, you go on vacation ,not to get treated so poorly ,I have been in orlando for many years so I would like to add the same way the girl say pp should where they are going to eat ,she should be very carefull how she refer to customer because she dont know who she is talking too,by the way if you go to bal harbour in any of the restaurant in there you will never pay 5,75,not even a cappuccino, also I put one star just to get on website but ,gloria pay attention to your employees! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was there around 11:30 on Sunday january ,8 2017 anyways we went to Starbucks and the service was amazing, thank you!!!!!!!we all have cappuccinos instead

Worst service EVER!! I could not believe how we were treated by a waiter named Isais. We went to celebrate someones birthday and I was so embarrassed that I took someone to celebrate a special day and we were treated this way. We waited patiently for a table and were sat down. No one came to us to greet us at all, but we figured they were just waiting for the full party to get there (we were a party of 6). After others got there, waited about 30 minutes and finally asked the manager who our waiter was, to find out he was standing right in front of us the entire time! The manager told him we were ready (after 30 minutes of sitting at our table without even being offered a drink) and he kept doing what he was doing and still waited to come to us. I had one drink that night and it was because I ordered it from the bar myself. He did not crack a smile the entire time and his attitude was just horrible. We asked if they can do anything for the birthday girl and his response was that if we buy a dessert, he can put a candle on it. Meanwhile, others were celebrating birthdays, getting sung to by the staff, etc... What did it for us was when we ordered an appetizer and it never came. The food came first and when we asked the waiter for the appetizer, he said they ran out and walked away. This is when we finally got so fed up that we complained to the manager and asked for someone else. We are very courteous people, and to be treated this way was just unbelievable, especially at a restaurant located on Disney property . Weve always enjoyed this place, but this guy really ruined it for us. The manager was good about getting us a different waiter, but overall this experience was the the worst weve ever had. For the money you pay, definitely not worth it. I was so mad that I didnt even touch my food!! What a waste of my money and night. Everyone was upset and went straight home.
