Terrible Service Stay Away all they wanted to do is leave, Suzie the manager wouldnt even let you get a piece of pie 1 minute after the kitchen closed as we were told the kitchen staff had walked out, what a joke of management and service definite FAIL!!! In response to yours: Since the storm went through the area earlier in the day you were waiting around after the storm had already passed. This is another lie you are telling for excuses of poor service just like you lied about your kitchen staff leaving 1 minute after close and no one in the whole place was allowed to get one piece of pie after we were asked by the server one minute before. Also the only people waiting around were your drunken friends at the bar that it appeared your staff could not wait to join them drinking as they badger ed us as we left which your staff encoraged them to do as well. The staff and thier drunken friends at this place are all a joke and I advise anyone to stay away from here as it is one lie after another and the management blames the customer or anything else except themselves. PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY is a word everyone should learn here.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Four of us went to dinner. We all ordered soup. It arrived cold. Although both the clam chowder and conch chowder had a nice flavor it was lukewarm at best. We did not say anything until all four entrees arrived cold, too. We asked waitress to take back the food to heat it up. At this point we also mentioned that the soup had been cold, too. When the entrees came back there was no noticeable difference in the temperature. The waitress came back and we told her the food was still cold. The manager came over and offered us dessert. We thanked her, but told her we did not want dessert. When the bill came they took off 3 soups, although all four had been cold. There is no reason a dinner should arrive cold...especially the second time around. Although, its a cute place and a great location, we would never go back again. They obviously dont appreciate customers and are not terribly concerned with your dining experience.

Food is bad. The only thing we enjoyed were our salads. Tequila Pasta had thin watery sauce, the chicken was boiled and had no flavor, and the whole dish was very slimy. The chicken lettuce wraps were also slimy and bizarre. The jerked chicken dish was bad, and the veggies that came with the mango grouper were cooked to oblivion and served cold. The grouper itself was fine though. The salads were very good, we loved the house dressing. We waited a very long time for our over priced and poor tasting food. The live music was pretty good but too loud. We couldnt hear each other or our waiter and we were sitting as far as possible from the live music. Our waiter was pleasant and tried hard, so no complaints there. To put it plainly, we wont be back.

We went to Parrot Key Monday evening. The "house" margarita was tasty, but short on tequila. The dinner arrived cold for everyone at the table. They took the food back. When it came back, the entry had been put in the microwave to heat, but the side were still cold. They eventually brought hot food. The web site said the music entertainment started at 6. We waited until 7:30 then left. The whole experience as very disappointing and unsatisfactory. The manager is the one that brought the hot food the 3rd time and made no offer to comp anything. I rarely complain about restaurants, but this was not a good experience. On the plus, the hot food that finally arrived was good.

We looked this place up on Local and thought we missed it -- am really happy we finally got there. The marina side ambience is nice. Half a dozen umbrella tables make for a really delightful setting. For whatever reason both my wife and I were in the mood for crab so after the crab dip appetizer we both went for crab cakes and they were excellent. Served with asparagus and rice, it was a very nice brunch. Their pina colada pineapple cake is also very good. Three layers stacke high with pineapple frosting between. Not the absolute best cake in the world but very tasty. Would return for a special occasion; more than we spend for a "regular" meal.

This is a sinking boat. My experience was HORRIBLE and I would not recommend this place. I was visiting area and a local recommended the place (probably owner in disguise). Had calamari and chicken wings. Calamari had a piece of shredded metal in it and chicken was not done (red at the bone). Management did not charge for calamari but said chicken meat at the bone was red due to marinade. Excuse Me?!. Marinade does not reach the bone to make meat red and tough. The manager was reference by Tom, who was very arrogant. Again, I would not recommend this place. I agree will earlier post that this place is all about the money.

Me and Husband and friends visit Parrot Key on May 6 2017 and it was very disappointing. We were recommended by Cashier Julie that food was good .The crab intimation crab meat with some sauce throw over it. The rice and vegetables wasnt desirable to look it. I sent it back and receive wings that was over smoked and tasteless. My friend scallions was cut in half. Overall it wasnt worth the price they was asking. 1 star was given only because the waiter Luke was very knowledgeable and professional. Overall I wouldnt recommend this restaurant .

We were seated in the middle of a walk way, and had to wait 10 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. Once she came, she did not introduce herself, and only said "what do you want to drink" with an attitude. After she got our drink order we waited another 10 minutes just for water. We asked if we could move our seats, and after another 30 minutes of waiting and watching our waitress stand around like she had nothing to do, we finally left. We were very disappointed of our entire experience.

Let me start out by saying this would have been a one star if it hadnt been for the atmosphere and location of the restaurant. Mediocre food at best. We did a cook your catch which was $16 per person which is way too expensive if they are not providing the fish! You are essentially paying $16 for spices and 2 small sides. We also got to go seafood nachos which were pretty good but then we also got a fish and chips which was once again mediocre at best. Definitely would not recommend going here!

Valentines Day we ordered prime beef special sorry they had no prime beef no ribeye no sirloin no chicken. Disappointing to say the least. Food was not good. The ones in our party of 7 who had shrimp pastas dishes said it was very good. We had an awesome waiter, Alex saved the day he gets 5 stars. The entertainment was great, I think his name was Jerry. We made the best of it & had a good time. Kudos to Alex & Jerry, you made our evening out special.
