My 13 yr old daughters only thing she wanted for her upcoming birthday was to go to a Blades game and eat in the Breakaway Pub. Back in Feb I called to make a reservation for the April 8th game as her 14th birthday is April 11th. I asked for a table at the wall. You have to leave a message and then wait for a call back which took days. A week before we went to a game and I went to the Pub to confirm for the next week but the manager was not there. I was told I would be contacted but was never called until I left another message. Tonight at the Pub we did not get the table I was told was confirmed and they said the manager was away. You can never speak to anyone or call and get anyone on the phone. Apparent y unless you are a season ticket holder they have no interest in service or even honoring a reservation. How disappointing. We love the Blades but I cant even say how upsetting it was to be treated so poorly. Would not recommend the Breakaway for anything but last minute if you feel like being treated shabbily. Ironically my sister came down and bought tickets to the game for this. Also embarrassing . Thanks for disappointing my daughter as well as myself.

Cannot believe staff and security they have hired for events. Ridiculously rude and unprofessional. Obviously not trained correctly. They are mean to everyone for absolutely no reason. They are the type of men and women that take their anger and issues out on everyone just because they have a little sticker on their shirt. Pathetic. Security was taunting and laughing at a man that was threatening to bring a gun and shoot up the place. Hello? Is that professional? Actual law enforcement was needed. Not a bunch of plain clothes mall cops.

Ive been here for quite a few things: hockey, WWE, and MMA. The service has always been good. On my last visit to watch the Everblades, I had never been up to the bar area above the seats that overlook the hockey arena. What a neat area. And they were doing discounted shots for every goal the Everblades scored. The Everblades scored 5 goals that night. Yeah. Pretty good venue.

I have been here on a few occasions for different events. Each time has been very pleasant. Event and concession staffs have alway been kind and courteous. Last time I was there my food fell out of my hand(my own fault really) and they replaced it free of charge. Price for food and drink is a bit pricy but I suppose is to be expected at a place like this.

Seats are way to small and very uncomfortable. Im 61" 240 above average for sure but ive been many places that were a much better and Ill not waste money to go back and be miserable at Germain. 15 dollars to park is a shame too. It should be included in the ticket price so you know up front. Ticket buyers beware.

Great arena but the seats are very small built for a small person, Im 61 and I was in row 3 by the ice and the seats I had to wedge myself in which led to an uncomfortable night I did ask if they had larger seats to accommodate the larger people and they said no it was disappointing for the money

Home of the ECHL Florida Everblades. Its tier 3 level (ranks below the NHL and AHL) Professional hockey, where many of the teams are affiliated an NHL team. If you enjoy hockey and have some time to burn while in southwest Florida then its an enjoyable night out!

Now here is something I dont see much in Florida... ice skating. Unless you go to the Germain Arena. Treated the family to some ice time, my kids have never been on the ice, they loved it. Ice Skating in August, that is a first for me

I came here with my family for Disney on Ice and it was really fantastic. They ran everything extremely efficiently so there werent any long waits. As per usual, the prices for everything are crazy, but its to be expected.

Great place to hang out and great place for concerts too. Just make sure you dress well no matter the occasion or where in the stadium youre sitting. Its cold either way being that theres an ice rink.

Went to the Circ show over the weekend. 1st time to the arena. Parking was good, got right in and found our seats easily, when the show was done we got out with no issues. All in all a good experience.

We go there every year. The place is huge. Dont sit to hight up you might get light headed and dizzy. The ice rink is great good place to cool off in mid summer.

A smaller venue than most... Sound for concerts was good to me. Got great seats at the last minute to rock n rollers. Nice experience every time i go there.

The hockey team is great, and the ice skating is very reasonable at $5 a person including skates. My daughter goes every weekend.
