Took my son to see Megadeth on July 3rd and having been a lifetime Northeast Ohio resident, this was my first visit to the Nautica. I like the area around it that I used to refer to as "the Flats" but I havent seen anything in quite a while to make me think thats what it still called. Spent my share of time on either bank sipping beer, eating gyros and watching "preppies" beat the snot out of each other in the late 80s into the 90s and havent been there since. The venue itself is awesome as well as the area surrounding it. Its when the human element gets injected into it that it becomes fouled. The entire area smacks of greed in its most benevolent form. You cant turn a corner down there without doing a wide-eyed double take at the cost of something. I deliberately parked way up by the Federal so I could walk through and around with my son to regale him with stories of my time down there and saw him surprised quite a few times at the prices he encountered. The show was great as well as the weather and other attendees. The view terrific with the sun setting against all the brick and mortar of the skyline and patriotically enhanced by the Terminal Towers upper levels being illuminated red, white and blue (with a ring of amber in there as well for some unknown reason) but all that just wasnt enough for me to be able to shake the feeling that I wanted (NEEDED) to go home and take a 90 minute shower with scalding hot water and a wire brush.

I wish I didnt have to even select 1 star for this review! This event ruined my whole entire day! (Bash On The Banks)I dont think we will be returning to the complex... First to start the day I waited in line until 4:30pm when the event started at 4. Second, I bought V.I.P tickets once we arrived I learned V.I.P wasnt so special.. The V.I.P tent was full of non V.I.P bracelets (green star bracelet) so we couldnt even sit at a table. Next, we learned the seats are first come first served... We bought floor seats.. At 7pm the floor seats were all gone.. Third, I was promised to see fireworks from my seat.. That didnt happen.. They were out of sight I would have had to leave the gate to see them and there is no re admitting! 4th, I went to the restroom and it was horrible, I couldnt breathe with how strong the smell of bleach was, all of the toilet seats were wet with bleach. I thought I found a dry seat NOT my brand new pants have bleach stains all over them!!!!

They wouldnt let me bring my empty backpack or digital camera inside, and once inside I was several others with both things. I am a photographer and I missed out on a ton of great photos because they decided not let me bring my camera in. And on top of this the woman who was checking in bags was very rude and complained "she didnt have time for this." Well if you would have let me bring my things in then you wouldnt have to take time out of your day to deal with it! And I had to pay for them to hold my things! How uncalled for is that? Why should I pay for something they MADE me do! Ive never been told I wasnt allowed to bring in my camera and back pack, it was completely ridiculous, and I definitely wont being going back. Its a shame, because its a nice venue, but being treated like I did something wrong, and it was annoying that I wanted bring a camera to a concert, has really soured the place for me.

If you are of a bigger stature or a bigger person, I would HIGHLY recommend you do not purchase tickets to this location. This is metal bleacher seating with a cheap formed numbered seat. This leads to people packing in like cattle, shoulder to shoulder, knee to backs. You barely have a foot of space and it has a mighty chance of shrinking if you have inconsiderate and rude people leaning on you and taking up more room than what is available next to you. I went to go see Alt-J last night and the sound was atrocious. So unbelievably loud that it was practically impossible to make out the words that were being sung and any other instrument besides the bass. So severely disappointed that I drove almost three hours for a mediocre display and horrendous seating. I will NEVER come back to this venue.

Went to a low-key concert, super casual. Wonderful evening along the river. Covered but still felt open and airy. We went with general admission which gave us access to the bleacher seats which were perfect, not too high at all. We had great views of everything going on. Bathrooms were standard, concessions the same. Parking however was $10 but we didnt have any problems finding a spot or leaving (we did leave before the encore). You might be able to find parking on the street but these are the Flats, its a bit limited. Def. make a day of it, there are some great bars and places to eat & the Aquarium is right there too.

A cool outdoor venue in the flats. Ive seen two shows here, and the setup is great. Importantly, there is a big tent by the stage in case of rain! I love outdoor venues, but they must have protection from the elements - especially in Cleveland, hahaha! Ive been here for other events, too - most recently a beer festival. I would not hesitate to go again for a concert or event. It is perfectly sized and designed so you feel close to the band almost no matter where you are, despite the fact that it is large enough to hold several hundred people.

The concerts were great! However, the parking attendants were horrible!!!!! One employee who was driving his bosses SUV hit my parked car in the parking lot and wouldnt give me his information only his bosses and he wanted to leave right away saying he was going to find his boss but I wouldnt let him out of my sight. Now my nice newer car is all messes up because some A** Hat cant drive through a simple parking lot and the insurance of the other vehicle wants the lot to take care of it. It just turned into a big joke.

Its downtowns outdoor concert - hall. Quality s there, excellent lineups every season. Artistically constructed, through being pavilion architecture. Memorable enough, as much youd want better seeing musicians ya love probably.. but quality is there. Windy and expensive; parking to events - fair value to opportunity ratio, honestly. Every years a surprise, across way in park too; brightens city from direction.

Twin was at their Peak , Portugal was the Man and Cage had Cleveland in a rage. The fans at the concert showed these three bands a whole lotta love. Port was in the crowd hanging out watching the Cage show, which was very cool. One of the best shows Ive seen in sometime. The Jacobs Pavilion is a great venue to see a show. KEEP ON ROCKING CLEVELAND

Disappointed with how security inside the venue conduct themselves. Clearly pregnant, I was told to move from first row of general admission seating (which I wanted for toilet accessibility without bugging a stranger) just to find out there was no reason for that and EVERY drunk in the venue was allowed to sit there. Really?
