I cant believe how similar my experience is to the "No Dice" review. I sprung a leak in my 75 gal. tank and had to move hundreds of dollars worth of corals to a temp 55gal tank with very poor lighting. I unfortunately could not focus on reestablishing the tank right away due to family issues. I knew I needed to get my most prized corals into a better environment soon. I called Amazing and explained my situation. I made an arrangement with Billy that I would GIVE them the corals and in exchange all I wanted was 2 small frags of each, when my tank was ready. When I dropped off the corals thats when my suspicion began. Billy and his girlfriend were in the shop and all smiles about helping me, but when I asked him to put the agreement in writing he just said, "no worries, well remember you". Well a few months down the road and I go back, theres Billy and he conveniently cant remember me and says I need to speak with AD the owner. I speak with AD and he first tells me all of my corals died but one and he will return only it. I go in to pick it up and Billy now remembers me, he then says that the corals lived but they were not able to get any frags. He then promises to frag the one in shop and will give it to me Fri. So I call on Fri. and Billy tells me to come on in and pick up the frag. I get there only to have AD comes storming out, get right in my face, tell me he doesnt owe me anything and that I need to stop harassing his employees, and leave the store immediately. Its sad when people go to other people for help only to be ripped off. -- Kerrie

My experience was that I brought all my saltwater aquariums corals and Live rock and fish on consignment and A.D. Stole all of that from me and my mother, we had to get rid of it all to pay for a funeral for my grandmother. After A year went by I was only paid $200 for a set up that cost me well over $7000 just for the tank UV sterilizers and equipment. The lighting cost an extra $5000. Finally we went into the store to ask him for a payment for our merchandise back , and he had the audacity to pull a gun out on me and tell me to leave his store , he has done this to numerous people. Awls you have to do is call all the other fish stores and ask about him and youll find out that hes nothing more than a common crook. He did this in front of my children my nephew and a store full of children. Take my advice and dont do business with him. God bless you all and I will see you in court Mr. con artist. That would be A.D. Just call Mr. Petman or Poseidon aquarium or any other aquarium store for that matter and theyll tell you for themselves. I only put one star because they dont have a spot for zero stars

Ok, so I was using this store exclusively for my coral and fish needs. Sure I could buy it cheaper at other shops or online but I am a local kind of guy. I sent my wife in on one occasion after speaking to ADS brother about a deal we arranged and everything was fine. My wife showed up on her very short lunch break only to be berated by AD. He humiliated my wife whom is a Psych therapist. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. My wife was just trying to help out and was treated in a manor that is sickening. I would have still been a customer even though they are higher priced if they would have apologized and made an effort to show my wife they were wrong in this situation but months later and not a word. They have my phone number and e-mail address so it would not be difficult. Brent

The moment you walk through the door. Be prepared for the Amazing Life that you will see. I was tired of hearing all the same old fish stores tell me the same old stuff buy this buy that. The owner AD is a certified Marine Biologist. His tanks are proof for that. His knowledge by far blows any local aquarium store out of the water and back. AD runs his business with honesty and integrity. His corals are well maintained and he is the only aquarium store that runs true ocean water. These guys dont beat around the bush. The want your tank too succeed. I myself own a local business, and I can say Amazing Aquariums is the place to go if you too want an Amazing Aquarium in your home.

More often than not these guys will talk you OUT of buying something if you dont actually need it. They know their stuff better than any other LFS, and they wont intentionally mislead customers like some of the other fish stores in the area (Poseidon Aquarium). They are a small store and they dont have a great selection of hardware, but their live goods cant be beat. Especially their coral, which they grow inside the store. The best thing about them is their knowledge. They will help you whether you buy from them or not. They want you to succeed with your tank. If you have questions, ask them.

Ive been going to this store for a few months now and have had nothing but good experiences. I go up there multiple times a week and there always seems to be something new. AD and Alex are two of the coolest people around and theyll usually bend over backwards to help you out. Thats why I hate seeing posts from people like Kerrie who are just trying to badmouth a great business because her and her boyfriend are ignorant...my experience has, and never will, be anything like the post written by Kerrie, if you want good quality reef equipment and/or livestock, this is the place to go.

Very knowledgeable staff. AD himself was a treat to speak with. Nice selection of corals and livestock. Displays and other tanks are well maintained. Wife and I enjoyed our experience in their store and will most definitely be back there to buy stock for our reef tank.

Tried to visit this store on 3 different occasions. Each time I arrived shorty before they were supposed to be open and waited for them to open 30-45 minutes after the hours of operation listed on the window.
