My daughters wedding was held on the back deck of the rec center, 5pm, and the reception inside on a Saturday. We had about 60 people. The setting and the room are lovely. Laminate floor makes it easy to include dancing without extra expense. We did get conflicting information regarding rates, which was eventually settled to honor the military discount offered initially. We also had conflicting information on usage. The Christmas tree lights on the deck railing are non-functioning and we were told they would be removed, but they were not. The outside area around the deck, the cigarette disposals, and the deck trash can were not cleaned up/emptied - we had to do that when we arrived. A few of the interior trash cans were also full when we arrived. Nothing a big deal to do ourselves, but I didnt feel we should have. Plenty of parking for our group.

This park is small and gorgeous however there are a large number of thefts occurring here. I was there this past Saturday with a large group of people. (Approximately 100 people) and 3 of our cars were broken into and items were stolen. The police know this is occurring regularly and claim the chances of recovery are slim. We also heard the same thing happened on Sunday as well to other visitors. There are no cameras for security. The theft occurred in broad daylight. Hope the county takes measures to increase security and we will not be returning.

Great pet friendly park with many spots to sit and admire the wildlife. Pet waste stations are place around the 3 lake trails. There is a community softball field, basketball court, gazebo and kayak and canoe rentals. It never gets too loud or too crowded. And there are several docks for fishermen. I have spotted bluegill, large mouth bass, yellow bellied terrapins, alligator snapping turtles, and Florida softshells in the water, yet to see a snake or gator.

Great place for fishing! They have 3 fishing docks with several options for fishing in weeds, no weeds, deep or shallow. There is also a playground, ball field, walking trails and a community building where you can rent canoes and kayaks.

Nice little playground surrounded by nice sized ponds for kayaking or even fishing. A few base ball fields as well as basketball and a board walk kids love it and its dog friendly. No dogs allowed in playground but are ok elsewhere.

Nice little park with great spots to sit and look out over the water. The city holds festivals here, like the food truck rally we attended a few weeks ago. Otherwise this is a pretty quiet place.

Small park with docks stretching out over the water. Good for short walks with your S.O. or family. Theres swings and a jungle gym for kids as well as basketball and tennis courts.

Its close by and great for taking the kids with its playground and sidewalks and baseball and soccer area. It has kayak rentals available during the week.
