Chill venue, smaller and more laid back than I expected, I pictured a fancy historic theatre, but it was a down home kinda vibe, intimate experience because you have a good view no matter where you are. I was so happy to see the security working in the pit were handing out cups of water to people near the front, not sure if they do that every show but that was mad respect! Thank you cause it sure was hot!... I parked in the Euclid ave garage down the street form the house of blues, (facing the front of the venue its too the left and on the opposite side of the street) only $6 parking if in before 8:30 pm Only dislikes were paying almost $7 for a can of PBR and these ridiculously drunk chicks that were all aggressive trying to get to the front, know the unwritten rules ladies: if you didnt wait outside a venue in line for hours to get near the front, you can bet your ass that ppl will be pist if you try barging in front of them. Plus it was Rebelution we were listening to, chill reggae rock, no need for snapchatting series and flashing your tatas, save that for your Kenny Chesney concerts and show love. Lol

Great place to stop for a causal Friday night! Their patio/outside section is the perfect spot to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy some people watching (especially the parade of Indian fans chanting through East 4th St after a big win); while inside features high energy karaoke and live bands. The menu has a good spread of food options and drink selection- though the price tag on their cocktails being $12-16 a piece is too steep for my taste- leading to my selection of a Mango Ginger Press "refresher" which was fannnntastic- the blend of Ginger Beer with Mango was reminiscent of the SBx Peach Green Tea Lemonade that I love so much. The BBQ flatbread was solid, but nothing amazing. The staff was friendly and kept thing moving- though they did have to have a manger come out to verify the Yelp 10% discount. The atmosphere/location is what really saves this place. The food is pretty good- just a little pricier than the quality.

I just like the way its downstairs with the low ceiling. It gives it a considerable "intimate" feel that you will never be able to get at the Q or the Wolstien. You will, however, absorb the cost of that feature. By that, I mean that a crappy, watered down 16 oz. fountain soda was $6.00! But the foul look I got from the dick at the bar for not leaving a tip was on the house. And dont get me wrong, I ALWAYS tip but when I asked him if I could get that beverage WITHOUT ice, like I ordered it, youda thought I asked the guy for one of his I-teeth. Maybe its just me but I take pride in my work and part of that means getting it right. I didnt think it was too much to ask. Especially for 6 freakin bucks!

Do you like paying $4 for water? Do you like having your sharpies (which I wanted to get merch signed with) confiscated by security because apparently they pose a serious threat to the bathroom walls? Do you like having skanky girls screaming in your ear while youre trying to listen to Thundercats rad bass solo? Then House of Blues Cleveland is the place for you! I dont care WHO plays there - I would rather drive 3 hours out of my way to catch a show I wanted to see at a different venue than EVER go back here again. Just Dont Do It. Youre thinking about it. "Oh, maybe this person just had too high of expectations, surely its not that bad." Im telling you, just dont do it.

So heres the deal... Youll spend around $7 to $22 or so for a ticket to an event here. And the place is pretty decent with room for all styles of concert-goers (seating, dance floor, lounge, etc). The problem is, once youre in the door, hide your credit cards because everything costs a small fortune!!! They know theyve got a captive market once youre inside so they charge you through the a** on everything. The only "bargain" on drinks is the PBR and theyre like $4! Honestly, you cant pay me $4 to drink that crap. Do yourself a favor and patronize the other businesses before you enter HOB. They dont deserve to make money on drinks when they mark them up that much.

Rude, over priced....took problem to manager and she would not help us! Paid for VIP early admittance and were told to just go outside through general doors! So I paid for nothing! Venue to view shows is small cramped and their service is even worse! We had standing room up on balcony, which is better than the small, I mean tiny, chairs they have and after almost two hours into show we were asked to move to the back of the room, they were going to put stools up by rail, wide enough to rest drink on. They sold those seats and we would have to move.....we left! I wish Blackberry Smoke would play somewhere else, venue is HORRIBLE!!!!

Rob Zombies performance was phenomenal. THE ONLY REASON FOR THE SECOND STAR!!! The security, or the staff responsible for security, was ridiculous. Announce rules forbidding crowd surfing, stage diving AND moshing with the penalty of ejection...but DO NOT ENFORCE!!! Id be surprised if no one was hurt. Whats the point of purchasing "pass the line" tickets for good floor space if once the concert starts theres no staff to prevent late comers and down right rude, entitled arses to slam their way to the stagefront?! Walking out was purely disgusting, the raunchy smell of urine and vomit made us gag.

We went to a show at this venue last night. It was great. The venue was wonderful and intimate and right in the heart of downtown Cleveland with plenty of reasonable parking nearby and even valet parking off the side street. We had dinner before the show here also and it was wonderful and again, reasonable. Everything was great!! From the service to the drinks to the food to the atmosphere! I would drive back to Cleveland again just to explore the area more and see another show or even just have a meal. Thanks so much everyone at House of Blues!

Terrible venue. If you dont eat there, you cant sit in the balcony chairs. In fact, you cant sit at all unless you spend $20 extra for each person to be able to sit on a bar stool. A BAR STOOL, REALLY??? So unless you are standing right in front of the stage or willing to pay for a seat (which doesnt promise you a full view of the stage) you have to walk around and squeeze in places just to get a glimpse of a band member. Yes, just one or two band members because there are so many walls its hard to see the whole stage!!!!

I went to a show here. Everything about the organization of the venue was a disaster. They carded us and then didnt give us wristbands so we had to go back through the line and get carded again. They charged $20 for a food voucher, but didnt say you have to have a reservation. They had no merch from the gift shop for the band we were actually here to see. I planned out an evening with a friend here and drove 4 hours to enjoy it, and everything about the experience was a pain. Wont be coming here again.
