When they say they are known for their seafood, they better bring it! I can surely say they didnt fail to impress. We are staying at the resort on our honeymoon. My wife and I ventured to order the Seafood launch. Yes its $80, but I never expected to walk out saying $80 was a steal. 6 of the freshest, tastiest oysters, 4 hearty stone crab claws, 10 mussels, 10 clams, 6 jumbo shrimp, 4 different selections of their famous ceviche bar, the largest Maine lobster tail I have seen served outside of Maine, and three giant king crab legs (easily a foot long and meaty as ever). Lets just say we didnt finish all the mussels and one crab leg. I could have been satisfied there, but pridefully I still had to eat my entree. My wife canceled hers. Thats just how much we had. 6-8 people could easily share this appetizer and be plenty satisfied, but still ready to enjoy the amazing fish entrees. I had snapper and it was delicious. Dessert (creme brûlée) was perfectly executed. Job well done.

I have been coming here for the past three years and it was one of the main reason I come to this hotel. The food and service use to be so excellent and spot on. Sadly this visit was not the same. The food was horrible the quality of the ingredients were cheap, no flavor, very basic cooking. Nothing speacial at all, and for the price you think you would be blown away like my past visits. We complained the the manager bobby and he handled the our situation well and have no complaints about him. But the 20 percent that was taken off our bill was barely enough to even think about coming back and staying at the hotel and dinning on property. I am not sure what happened and why they changed what use to be a great product.

The Good: Rick, our server was excellent. He knew the menu well and kept things flowing. A few bumps here and there but he was on it and went beyond and above. Captains room was nice and our guests enjoyed it. Presentation was excellent. The Bad: Hostess seemed confused. Wine list isnt impressive and our Italian selection was bland. The Ceviche was served with flavored bread/crackers taking away from the natural flavors. Two of the four fish plates served were overcooked. In the Middle: Dessert was okay, more of an after thought. Summary: Great staff, nice location, quiet place to meet but the food didnt live up to expectations.

The best prepared seafood in Bonita Springs! From the wonderfully different types of fresh civiche to the crispy whole snapper, your tastebuds will thank you from the moment you enter the front door to the last bite of your Key lime tart. If youre looking for the best seafood in Bonita Springs, a beautiful setting and first-class service, make a B-line to Tarpon Bay at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa!

Im not that picky, but I was not impressed, stay away until they get a new menu or redo their stuff. The price is equivalent of a top steakhouse, but my food was barely edible. Service was fine. But I couldnt eat my filet, and everyone we were with said their food stunk. I complained to the hotel, they were shocked but did nothing. Disappointing, what a waste.

The food is ok, the service is good, but if the restaurant wants to offer ceviche, the chef must try real ceviche, what the restaurant is serving is nothing like this, I didnt like it, too spicy, no cilantro, very different from the original ceviche. The main lobster was really good, I recommend it a lot.

Sat for an 1 1/2 before our entrees arrived. Fish was warm, veggies and rice COLD. Sent back. Waited 5 minutes for reheated rice and veggies. Manager offered us a round of free drinks. At least they did something! Very disappointed in Hyatt!

My wife and I went to the spa for a couples treatment. The spa was wonderfully equipped and the staff excellent. We were very impressed and pleased with the experience. We live in the area and will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

We ordered the seafood linguini. Plenty of seafood in it and great taste. Overall great atmosphere, great service, great food, just a bit pricey but then again it is a resort restaurant. I recommend it!

Im a native of 36 years in sw Florida and hands down the best seafood around, just short of me pulling it out of the gulf and cooking it myself but better, i dont have to clean up after.

One of the worst meals ever. Overpriced, tiny portions. Every dish was bland and tasteless. Still shocked how disappointing this meal was.
