My first time at this venue was 12/03/2016. I had a good time, the DJs were great, I had no problem with the security , etc. People acknowledged you whether they knew you or not. I think the DJs stage or booth is too small, and should be a little larger with more space to move maneuver. That being said the DJs and others who were able to get their stuff done which was well received. Now as for the bar, the bartenders were very pleasant, but I think its sneaky to not have a price list, I purchased an Apple Cider and a Vodka with Red Bull for someone else and that was $20.00. I am not in anyway being cheap although if one is that is fine, but it;s good to have an idea of pricing before you purchase anything. I would go again, but will be careful what I purchase. I will give it one star for now and perhaps write a new review the next time I attend.

Smaller venue with good visuals (lighting, led board, lazers, etc) and a decent sound system. The crowd and the vibe here totally depends on the night and the party, with different nights hosting edm, trap, dubstep, trance, or rap djs/acts. Similar in size to the second floor room of Flash and about 1/8 as big as Echostage, the smaller size can result in a great vibe when the crowd is all dancing together. Small dj booth up front with led board behind it and a bar running along the right side of the room. The back of the room has a small chill out area for sitting down and resting. Crowd is usually similar to Echostage in that it is usually a mix of dedicated, knowledgeable fans of the dj performing and also just groups of people going out together for a fun night who might not know the dj or the music.

Bartenders were great and friendly so was the security staff. The bouncers outside however said there was a $10.00 cover charge. We just moved here not long ago so we believed that even though the club had just opened. They pocketed our money. Honestly if we were more in tune with the situation I wouldnt have gone in because of there sketch service. We found out from the manager its free before 11. Be aware if youre told there is a cover before 11 they are lying to pocket your money.

I am giving one star just for drinks. Terrible night club, catastrophic. If you from the carribean, or some other city around like New York, Boston etc... You know what a nightclub dance seems and sound like.... Dont go to that club on Thursday-Friday... No hip hop-no Reaggae, its only techno. " Crazy people" Great location but Dj was extremely sucks. I repeat dnt go to that club. You will end up asking for a refund no jokes

Turning into one of the most epic venues in the country. Its becoming tradition for big time DJs rolling through the east coast to stop by and spin in the nations capital to a small but dedicated crowd. lighting is crazy good, bar right there, sound is top notch also, although be mindful when close to the front speakers theyll knock your face off

Soundcheck is the best. A very legit EDM venue. They get great shows and they do a great job with them. Fun eclectic crowd, doesnt often get overly crowded but always feels crowded enough to have a good energy. Bartenders take good care of us. Bathrooms are fine. Coat check line is usually long at the end of the night but rarely out of control.

First time being here, took my niece here for her 21 turn up. It was cool the music was okay DJ just kept playing Drake. That was so annoying after a certain hour it started to get lit. A great crowd bartenders definitely making them drinks right. Bathroom attendant was cool. Ladiea dont be trifling bring some ones so you can tip!!!!!

I dont write many reviews but this place deserves the recognition. Went to see Michael Woods last month and couldnt imagine a better time. Michael interacted with the crowd the entire night, security/staff/bartenders were all very friendly, sound quality and lighting all perfect. Well done, will be back.

This club is pretty great. The space is beautiful and there are girls dancing on top of tables, the space is large and there are a lot of people that turn up over the weekends. We went with a bunch of friends who knew the people there so it was cool

The open bar they advertise on Eventbrite is a lie. Went there with a friend on Saturday, bartender said she didnt know what we were talking about. STOP WITH THE FALSE ADVERTISING! Never going back to Soundcheck.

Great sound, great artists. Gets loud and crowded, in a good way. Its always freezing inside at the beginning of the night. Crazy bathroom attendant lady makes for a hilarious ladies bathroom experience.

Maybe it was bad luck or because it was a Friday night, but the music was quite boring. Also I think women with tiny outfits working the bar is demeaning. The staff was however very friendly.

If I could give 0 starts I would... my friends got roofied here and ended up getting an ambulance ride and woke up in the emergency room not remembering a thing (they are also 18)

Its very small. A great night club venue I usually go to echostage. Better lights there. The floor is great to dance on at sound check though

I have only been here once, but I saw Morgan Page and had a table right next to his DJ booth!!! It was lit, highly recommend!
