One star is generous! This Center is the backwater of DPR. (Ive visited other Centers for comparison -- they are funded and equiped.) For several years Ive gone twice a week for free YMCA sponsored Senior fitness programs because DPR provides ZERO Senior-centric activities. The Center is underutilized and most rooms locked because theyre opened primarily for high-fee PRIVATE venders during evening hours. These are verifiable (and photographed) statements of fact. The Center, with 27" doors, was NOT ADA accessible having a disfunctional chair-lift, until late October16 when "forced" because of needed early-voter accessibility to improve. Persons who gave 3 or 4 stars had to be "ringers". The usually locked "Senior Lounge" (photo) is often cluttered and used for storage.

The staff there is terrible, if you remotely care about your kids dont send their. Camp counselors will throw things at kids and ridicule them. They have no compassion what so ever and only do the job for the money

Clean with lots of activities for a wide variety of people. Personally enjoy the Amateur Telescope Workshop by the National Capital Astronomers.

They used to have a lot more to offer. Decades of budget cuts killed the place.
